The difference in this case is only a tenth of an inch or 0.3%, so yeah, the speedo difference will be very slight indeed. (With 275/60/20 speedo will read 65 when you're actually going 65.2).
In the case of going from 22s to same 20s means a slightly bigger but still tiny difference, +.05%. so...
Yeah, if that's the case then it's a terrible deal ($10000 for only an extra 40 miles?) and they might as well have just cancelled it instead of stringing us along for years like this.
If it's a matter of the added weight reducing payload then fine, they should just be straightforward that...
I'm still trying to figure out how the Max Pack will only be "400" miles. It was supposed to be 180 kWh. They called it that for years. That would match up with it having 12 cells (since the Large Pack has 9 and is 135 kWh, so 15 kWh per). If so based on these Dual motor numbers, Max should have...
Very appealing little car for the price, could even be a GTI replacement. But then I see it only has a center display.. Ugh. Not a driver oriented vehicle, that's a deal killer for me.
It can tow 2000 lbs, enough for a tiny camper trailer maybe, but that's less than the Model 3/Y which I...
No, it isn't. Veganism is about harm reduction. Not using someone's skin for seats (a pretty weird and morbid idea if you think about it for half a second) means not relying unnecessarily on an industry that's based entirely on exploitation, enslavement, torture and slaughter of other sentient...
I will love this to be true but I also see little chance of this happening. If true and if they actually build it within the next year or so, I would gladly wait. But other than an occasional anecdote like this, from a random guide who may not know what they're talking about, we've gotten no...
Fair enough. I see a small HP number difference as much less of a "different truck" vs them fully removing 2 of the 4 motors they promised for Max Pack (which used to be also called "180kwh", but seems will now be smaller).
I wouldn't mind a small change in HP number, I want one motor at each...
In other words, the truck that I ordered a couple years ago. Before they gimped it repeatedly before canceling it entirely and pushing me onto Dual Max. Why not give us the option of waiting for the actual Quad Max, like I ordered? They basically reneged on their promise to deliver what we...
I'm in a similar situation debating on doing this. Please do update with what you end up doing. That will be great if they will calibrate it for 21s (33") right away.
Great results, thank you! Comparing specs, your Basecamp 20x is almost exactly the same size and weight as my Intech Sol Horizon. Mine is a foot less long, and 3.5" taller (with AC), and my box width is slightly less (7'0") but the wheels stick out a bit more. Weight basically exactly the same...
I considered both. Vetoed the 320 after looking at it because it's not tall enough to stand up in. The 400 is nice and tall enough, but I ended up finding a nice Intech Sol Horizon which is slightly larger and has a nice big wet bath. It's 19', a little taller and a little bit less aerodynamic...
I would love to see the difference at 60mph.
Also I wonder if the inefficiency from AT tires could some how be made even worse when towing? A test with AS tires would be great too.
Yeah it wasn't an option for this as a bundle, but it was an option to have AT, Reinforced Underbody, and Spare all separately. So my theory is that any truck that had all three of those configured, they're now just calling that the All Terrain Upgrade, +$3850.
It's just a way for them to bundle those options and sell them as a $3850 upgrade. Normally the underbody shield would be $2000 on LE and the spare (no longer offered) maybe $700-800 (can't remember exactly), and AT wheels free ($1800 on Adventure). They're getting an extra $1000 by bundling...
Yeah the way I see it is the vinyl was originally for the cheaper Explore trim. They cancelled that and are slowly moving it into the regular Adventure time. Kinda similar to the Meridian audio branding going away. Basically cost cutting/price increase.
