They're also killing off prepaid FSD. Starting next month, the only way to get any driver assistance features will be to pay $100/month. (And there are rumors they'll raise that price, too!)
I've been closing my garage door on my (hardwired wall-mounted, 25 ft) cables for years. My garage door does have a pretty thick and flexible bottom bumper/insulation strip, though. I wouldn't do it with a garage door that the metal door gets close to the ground.
In Germany, car are required to have amber turn signals.
I had an Audi that was made in Germany.
Amber turn signals are of course legal in the US, just not required.
Audi made US-market vehicles - even those built in Germany - with red turn signals.
This pisses me off. Sure, old cars that...
Better than Amazon.
Only because with Google, I can use my "Google Workspace" account, which gives me complete control over how Google uses my data, unlike a standard Gmail account.
Meanwhile, a route I take at least once a week, FSD tries to change *OUT* of the exit lane I need to be in after the line has become solid on a well-traveled major freeway intersection.
And going to my local (frequently full) Supercharger, where there is a right-turn lane, it tries to take the...
On a serious note - I'm glad it worked out, and also glad you discovered the wonderful generosity of Central/Eastern Oregonians (other than obnoxious landlords. I've never had a small independent motel/lodge/whatever tell me I couldn't use a 120V outlet in an emergency to charge.)
Please provide a link to where you provided evidence that an automaker is shipping true self driving.
You posted one photo of one person's Tesla saying that it has driven ~5000 miles on FSD, that being 100% of their miles driven since updating to FSD 14.2.
That is not the same as "evidence...
They should. There are multiple Rivians with over 100,000 miles with no major powertrain problems.
You happen to have a unit that has a problem. This happens with ICE vehicles, too. It's the reason "lemon laws" exist. In 33 years of vehicle ownership, 14 total vehicles, I have had two ICE...
If the bike fits in the bed with the tonneau closed, why bother with the aero hit and environmental exposure of having it hanging out? Plus, small-frame folding bike probably doesn't fit the tailgate pad well.
Yep. Most of the "monitor your driving to give you a discount" services penalize you for driving at night.
I had Progressive, and they have three 'scores' - "Phone use", "Hard braking", and "speeding." I scored 100 in all three. And yet my 'overall score' was 69. of course, the big discount...
Hrm…. I have a company event in Austin right after that - hope I win, and can just shift my flight out to be early enough for SXSW, and just stay for the company event after!
My 2022 Gen 1 R1T Quad-Large? Until it is no longer financially reasonable to keep on the road.
Unless the following two conditions are met:
I come into a large sum of money - enough that a new R1T is a trivial expense. (Could be lottery, could be inheritance from a currently unknown relative...
