    Rivian uses the 2170 battery, which have the new chemistry almost identical to Tesla. ( lookup research on samsung 5000mAh) Rivian is a new company, and they are been very conservative, (very understandable) you will see in the future, new guidelines to 90%.

    The bottom line is that, Rivian can’t charge any faster than 11.5 kW. ( Max vehicle onboard charger) @ home doesn't matter if you use a 48amp charger or 80amp charger. so why put a 70amp or 100amp breaker, when all you need is a 60amp breaker. if a home charger says you need a 70amp breaker...

    At home, max 60A Breaker. Rivian can’t charge any faster than 48amp via AC. On the road, they are DC fast chargers. So that would be at~250amp or less.

    So I talked to tech/service, and they are telling me it should work, according to their screen I’m supposed to have a selection for “ Gate” separate from the “ garage” icon. they are working on it and will get back to me. That might be an update, maybe ?

    Since they do support that frequency, definitely not hardware, it’s a software ware. I also had a Tesla that had I was able to program, and was able to make it work.

    Just tried programming Ghost Control Gate opener, and still no Joy. Also Emailed Rivian for them to add support to the frequency of Ghost Controls.
