  2. Roadtrip videos are like excuses, everyone has one...this is ours: 4.5K Miles/2.6MWh/$900

In the free republic of FL, I pay $0.11/kwh, and I have solar panel's, so technically free, if you don’t count the price I paid for solar panels. Local drive, nothing can’t beat electric power vehicles. On road trip, it not so great, you can do better on a diesel truck , or F150 3.5-Liter...

Weight would do it, if towing or if you live in an are where you are going down steep mountain roads. Also taking the vehicle to track/drag racing would do it it in a couple of days.
  4. NACS charge port ( SAE J3400 )

Not sure why we are coming with excuses for CCS, the debate is done. CCS lost, that’s the reason it J3400 became the new standard. Back to my original post, RIVIAN may loose the opportunity to be the 1st in having a native NACS. ¿Would you go to the store and buy a VHS when you know the DVD...

Not sure what CCS station everyone is using, but I have traveled up and down the eastern coast of USA and EA is the worst, and not enough of them ( even the new ones) less than 1/2 work Tesla are very reliable, the RAN are nice too , but not enough of them.

actually , in general a smaller rims have a better efficiency than a larger rim, because of rotation mass, extreme example: 18” vs 22” rim. Less rubber contact on a 18” https://tiregrades.com/tire-anatomy/tire-size/changing-tire-size/bigger-wheels-vs-smaller-wheels/
  9. Discontinuation of 21” wheels

I’m confused how the 22” wheels are more efficient than the current 21” wheels?
  10. Seized rear calipers - Rivian stuck me with the bill

One of the reason for getting an electric vs ICE vehicle is low maintenance costs. Don’t know every one’s situation, but I have owned multiple teslas with over 100k and never replaced the brakes. I just use high regen on all, including my R1t. Part of learning curves is to anticipate your...

  14. BEWARE - EVGo at Pilot Flying J - ripoff pricing

Once every one starts charging above $.80 cents a kWh, electric vehicles are done, it would cost more to charge than to pay for gasoline. I would go back to buying ICE vehicles.
