Huh? There are hubcaps on in all the photos posted, the angle is wrong to see them. Here's a photo more from the side-view where the hubcaps are visible:
Look, I know the haters are pushing the fake narrative that Cybertrucks are rusting, trying to make anything stick, but reasonably...
It's not that simple. Adding those things will push the cost to produce a Rivian truck way up. They can't even sell them at break even without those features. Tesla can do it due to their very high manufacturing efficiency, that's what allows Tesla to bring so much value to the EV truck market...
It's rare that I see someone who believes false things so easily. You are so wrong it's as entertaining as you are annoying.
Yes, I'm laughing at you and your beliefs.
Tesla is not a non-auto company. They are an auto company, an energy storage company and an AI/robotics company. It's perfectly legitimate to compare the auto portion of Tesla with other more traditional auto only companies.
It's a violation of the Terms of Service to have multiple accounts. If Rivian Head and I share similar viewpoints it's because we form our opinions based on actual facts, not all the BS made up by Tesla haters.
Since my truck lives outside in the rain, under the trees, it gets quite rusty. Here's one showing all the rust:
Oh, wait, that's just mud. I can't find any pictures showing all the rust. Maybe that's because it doesn't rust.. The body care is super easy, I just wash it with soap and water...
I think having the speed displayed through the steering wheel made good sense back in the day when steering wheels were huge with thin rims and spokes. Because the steering wheel took up a lot of dashboard real estate and the view through the wheel was great.
Modern cars have much smaller...
Tesla can afford to provide steer-by-wire because they have superior manufacturing/operating efficiency. I think if Rivian added SBW, it would just increase their loss per car or push the prices too high to have much of an addressable market.
That's a good idea, it's not like much of the EV...
I'm pretty sure the R1S can handle it as it seems like it has soft start. The Cybertruck doesn't have any problem with it and when it was pumping, I glanced at the center display of the truck and think it said it was only drawing 0.5 kW.
It sounds very quiet and smooth, like it's not even...
Thanks for all the hard "work" Sasha!
For the last two months (ever since we got the off-road update) I've been saying how good the Cybertruck is off-road, but people said I must not know what I'm talking about, it was impossible for a city truck for rich kids to be good off-road. Thanks for...
What do you mean, even if you proved it to me? :CWL:
You can't prove it to me that you test drove a Cybertruck because you never test drove a Cybertruck. It was a lie. And then you tried to weasel out of it by saying I don't know who your friends are and what they drive.
Which is a true...
If you find that offensive, you need to grow a thicker skin! It's just one man's opinion!
Some people here seem very defensive and quick to take offense. And they attack the messenger rather than the message they disagree with. It's not a good look for the brand when so many of their owners...
True, I've been pushing back on the narrative that you need to peer down through your steering wheel to see the speedometer for over 6 years now. Some people think that since that's where the speedometer has always been, it's the best place. But I found I was adjusting the steering wheel...
You see, that's a false narrative that all the excitement and love for the Cybertruck is simply people being polite. It's not just politeness when people give you an enthusiastic thumbs up us they drive by. It's not just politeness when people yell from across the street, wait for traffic to...
You don't need stalks to control the turn signals and wipers without using the center screen! Remember, we are talking about whether the screen centric operation is a problem on Models S&X but not on Model Y, the best-selling car in the world.
I'm not sure why you mention the parking brake...
