Was the vehicle unlocked? The button on the outside will only open it if the vehicle is unlocked.
if the vehicle was unlocked, then perhaps there is something confusing it into thinking it's locked - which would require a service ticket.
Edit: I see you said you did an infotainment reset - try...
On the "physical key" front - my son's 2022 Subaru still has a physical key to unlock the doors manually and start the ignition.
The "advanced" BMW i3 I had a few years ago still has the "hidden physical key in the fob you can use to manually unlock the door" - you had to pry open a cover on...
Hopefully it's a Ukrainian enjoying a rebuilt Rivian, and not…..

There's never an "announced release date". It comes out when it comes out, and it rolls out to individual vehicles unpredictably. (Other than that if you subscribe to Connect+, you should get it before people who don't subscribe to Connect+, internet service dependent.)
I've had J1772+Tesla vehicles at the same time for many years. I've had dual J1772 EVSEs. And the positions the vehicles park changes, so "one J1772 + one Tesla" wouldn't work either. I've had zero problems using the Tesla J1772 adapter.
It takes time for the latest update to get pushed out to all vehicles. If you subscribe to Connect+, you should get it earlier; if you don't, it will be later by up to a few weeks.
You also get it faster if you are on reliable WiFi when parked. If you don't have your vehicle connected to WiFi...
I have a longer adjustable-height-ball-hitch for my T@B 400. But that's mostly because that's what I had for my prior trailer. I've used a "three ball" that's about the same distance away from the bumper in a pinch, and it worked fine. The "flange" on the front of the trailer coupler did get...
My prior travel trailer was an ~8000 lb (loaded) one.
As you can see, it's a bit of a brick. Tall and wide. Those are what kill efficiency (combined with speed.) At 65 MPH, I was getting 0.7-0.8 mi/kWh. Which meant less than 100 miles 100%-0%. (This pictured stop was my very first public...
If doing a reset doesn't fix it, contact the service center.
Really, for anyone who has a "major feature stops working" - that's what you do. Do a full reset, see if that fixes it.
If not, schedule a service center visit. And if one of the *SAFETY* features stops working, make sure to mention...
As long as you aren't somewhere temperature-limited, I don't see why not. 500A is 500A. You can get 500A through the adapter. I'd just be concerned in particularly hot places where the chance of overheating the adapter causing derating could happen more often.
Well, another anecdote - I go to the dog park at generally the same time every day. There are a bunch of "regulars" at that time.
Multiple have commented positively about the Rivian. One even worked on some of the early promotional videos for Rivian. (He was the driver behind the wheel of the...
And I'm telling you that is a severe underreporting. I've probably had that many incidents with FSD that would qualify for that in just the past six months, I just never reported them.
I bet with this making news, we'll see a huge uptick in reports, now that people know "oh, shoot, I should...
Taste it and find out.
:p
Or at least touch it, see if it feels like water or oil. Put a paper towel under it and see if it drops clear or colored, etc.
