On a call yesterday, my guide confirmed shipping from Normal via trucking is something they are doing. Not sure how common it is, but he indicated that it is faster than rail to its destination. Makes sense I guess. I hope mine gets put on a truck! I'd love to take delivery in 2-3 weeks.

Well, that is great then. I think many who pick from the R1 shop are concerned they are getting some reject from several months ago.

Just picked up an R1T from the online shop. VIN 022XXX I'm guessing this VIN is a couple months old? Maybe a March 2023 build? I asked my guide to confirm.

Rivian has been giving me an icky feeling lately, like the one you get when you know you're being taken advantage of. Honestly, I'm 50/50 on pulling the plug even though I am only a few weeks from my April/May delivery window. (not just about the tonneau)

The few Rivian owners I personally know are previous Tesla owners. I guess I am just surprised at the high rate of first time EV buyers.

My R1T delivery is scheduled for the end of May. I have this manual tonneau in the "cart" for $1,800. Not sure I'd even pay half that. I am a bit torn...

Tesla messed with this a while back. They had an "obstacle avoidance" option that came on by default. The loss in initial jump off the line was very noticeable. I'd imagine this is software related. Anything in the release notes about it?

Got my VIN April 4. Not yet delivered, and Guide said 7-10 weeks from VIN to delivery. My extra wait, he says, is due to a 2-4 week backup in getting the Xpel PPF.

I am also going from a Model 3 for that same road trip comfort reason!

Just got an email that said I have an updated window. I logged in and confirmed it went from PROCESSING ESTIMATE to APRIL - MAY 2023. This is for my R1T with a reservation date of 12/5/2022. I have no idea what to make of this updated window. Is it real? or should I take this a maybe s00n...

whoa...when I saw the pictures it looked like your R1S was in an accident. That is shockingly bad. Hope you can get this corrected in a reasonable way.

Ok, silly question here. How do see your est. Delivery Date? On my Rivian account I only see the order date.
