That makes sense - if Rivian’s production goals are met. With a large backlog, prices can be as high as Rivian wants. Once the backlog is caught up, it will be interesting to see where prices go.

Yeah that’s the conundrum. We do frequent 350 mile road trips and the areas we frequent have deplorable pothole prone roads. So crossovers have been omitted from the list. Truthfully, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rivian cancels the 260 mile R1S.

Good to see used prices are coming back down to reality but really wanted to keep the price below $80k. Not sure if that will ever happen with an R1S and at least 300 mile range. We need a 3 row SUV with some size so even an R2 doesn’t seem appealing. Electric cars have a long way to go to...

Thanks for advising guys. I really hate to replace my wife’s Yukon with another ICE but the price and wait time make the R1S a no go. Back to looking at Defenders……..
