Most Rivian Gen1 owners are getting 2-3 years out of a battery(s). You must have a later-generation Gen1 with a single 12V battery. Otherwise, Rivian would charge almost $800 to change the dual battery setup.

it’s is a Gen2 that’s the point of the adaptive high beams to come on as much as possible and filter out illuminating other vehicles. I assume deactivating is the same procedure as Gen1, if the highbeams are actively on pulling back on the stalk turns them off and deactivates auto high beams...

I have an early Gen1 build with no suspension work other than a recently replaced rear damper that was leaking, and I don’t experience any noises like that. The only issue I notice is a very slight “rocks in a can” rattle from the front left wheel when driving over broken pavement at lower speeds.

I'm all for them making it an option. However, I'm happy I can access it from the center screen when needed. I have done the opposite, hiding all that information since digital displays became available.

I asked for it to be done at the last service appointment, where they replaced the 12V batteries. My SC tested the fluid and said it wasn't contaminated, and they didn't recommend changing it at this time. I thanked them for saving me the $$.

Good point. I didn't even think of it that way. I have a Comma2 in a drawer to trade if I decide to upgrade. I know it's nearly worthless on the resale market now lol.
