You did good. A similar version, R1T though, sold online for around the same amount.

Not sure why this is always a surprise. Red, blue, yellow, orange never sell well. Why create a diverse color pallet with few takers?
The great news is, you can get any color you want via a wrap these days for little cost, plus it adds protection.
My view on 2 of the positive comments to the EV9.
I use Sirius all the time. I prefer Rivian’s implementation of it because I have access to way more stations than a satellite version. Yes, you can get to the others via the app and CarPlay, but CarPlay control Sirius sucks the most.
I don’t...
Most Rivian Gen1 owners are getting 2-3 years out of a battery(s).
You must have a later-generation Gen1 with a single 12V battery. Otherwise, Rivian would charge almost $800 to change the dual battery setup.
What else do they have to lose? The Highlander sales have already cratered from what they once were. I don't think this will do well for them. The majority of Toyota buyers don't want a hybrid, let alone a full ev.
it’s is a Gen2 that’s the point of the adaptive high beams to come on as much as possible and filter out illuminating other vehicles.
I assume deactivating is the same procedure as Gen1, if the highbeams are actively on pulling back on the stalk turns them off and deactivates auto high beams...
I have an early Gen1 build with no suspension work other than a recently replaced rear damper that was leaking, and I don’t experience any noises like that. The only issue I notice is a very slight “rocks in a can” rattle from the front left wheel when driving over broken pavement at lower speeds.
I'm confused why you're here and why you own an R1T then.
My R1T serves my needs perfectly. I use it for local hauling, commute 150 miles to the office, travel between three homes in the same state without needing to charge on the road, and occasionally tow to and from those places without...
I'm all for them making it an option. However, I'm happy I can access it from the center screen when needed. I have done the opposite, hiding all that information since digital displays became available.
I asked for it to be done at the last service appointment, where they replaced the 12V batteries. My SC tested the fluid and said it wasn't contaminated, and they didn't recommend changing it at this time. I thanked them for saving me the $$.
Thank you for posting this! So you didn’t have to get pre approved before having the work done? I thought that was required, unless it was a weekend or after hours.
Good point. I didn't even think of it that way. I have a Comma2 in a drawer to trade if I decide to upgrade. I know it's nearly worthless on the resale market now lol.
I'll add to the promo. If you're an exisitng users, Comma also offers a $250 trade-in credit off the price of a comma 4. So you could get a Comma 4 for as little as $600 with the trade-in credit and Paypal offer.
