I have an old Polaris Ranger EV that I converted to lithium and we love it. My partner uses it for hunting and he says that it doesn't spook the deer like the Honda Pioneer they sometimes use.
It's not as fancy as the XP Kinetic and only goes 25 mph but I couldn't justify spending $30K+ on a SxS.
More likely that they're getting blow-back from Laguna Beach residents about using the public park for commercial activity. There's a link with a bunch of complaint emails in the agenda.
They did a launch for the R1 at the LA Observatory in 2018 and this was immediately followed by a booth at the LA Auto Show. The public display would be the functional equivalent to a booth at the auto show I guess.
I'm guessing some journalists and youtubers will have early access to the R2...
There's news of a 'worldwide product launch event' in Laguna Beach on March 7th. I'm guessing this is related to the R2 although I guess they could also be hosting a large event for the R1 refresh.
u/competerb posted on reddit that Rivian is seeking permission to use a public park for a launch event in Laguna Beach on March 7th. This could possibly be related to the R2 because the application references a worldwide product launch event. I guess it's also possible that this will be an...
You are eligible if you paid more than $7500 in taxes in 2022 and signed a binding agreement. If you paid less than $7500, you will only get the paid amount since it was a non-refundable tax credit before the IRA went into effect.
Binding agreements use the pre-IRA credit rules which don't have income or MSRP limits:

It's a good-but-not-novel take on prior industry failures and the current landscape. The reader comments are predictably skeptical.
I disagree that the Lightning was a fumble, but Ford did probably overmarket the towing capabilities of the...
I agree, it's not going to happen until megawatt chargers become widely available. And that's going to be a while. You'd need even more than 500 kW to get a 10 minute 20-80% in the big battery Silverado WT--738 kW by my calculations).
Also agree--there's not much point in investing in 800V for...
I'm not going to start complaining about prices until we have widespread reliable charging infrastructure. In the meantime, charge me whatever it takes to pay for rapid expansion and maintenance.
They made the bar gray and put a red line at the top end of the operating range and people are still worrying about it. Maybe they should put a little info button in the corner of the tile with an explanation of what it means?
That has nothing to do with the timer.
The cooler has a failsafe that shuts the cooler down if the 12v battery voltage is below a certain threshold and the battery is depleted. This prevents the cooler from running the 12V battery to empty.
This is more important in ICE vehicles that don't...
