Was the ChargePoint you used in Grass Valley at the Briarpatch/co-op? I come up to GV a lot from LA. Just curious if there are more charging options yet? I generally charge my tesla in Auburn, so as to not worry about it while I’m in GV/NC
Recently saw these… not sure if anyones dug in further on it…

0-60 in our LFP M3 feels incredible at its advertised 5.6 for our model (LFP battery added minimal weight difference for the overall weight of the car. Side note… our LFP was the first batch they switched over to last year and they increased the battery size for the SR+ after that which landed...
Good points… I have the Model 3 with LFP battery and we charge to 100% regularly which gives us 250 miles range. Charging my R1T to 70% daily setting gives me 215 miles.
If you’re in a warmer climate like I am, the LFP battery really is a great option!
Following up on this thread… I didn’t get my efficiency tracked properly to know the over all impact, but it was noticeable. Last weekend I took 2 adults, 3 teen girls, 5mtn bikes (4 on hitch rack, 1 in bed) and all our gear to Big Bear for the weekend.
Picked it up yesterday and 200 miles later it’s amazing! A few bits to address, but all cosmetic. Will add more feedback once the perm-a-grin paralysis let’s me!
This is so useful! Thank you!
It turns out Im getting my truck 3 days before a trip up to Big Bear with the family. Ill be putting my Thule hitch rack on with 4 bikes. It should be interesting to see what kind of a hit all that hanging out there will be. Unfortunately I dont have an outlet at...
Thanks! I’m picking it up Tuesday. Step 8 is still locked, but I confirmed day/time via text. That said, I have the documents section to finish to get my banks ach letter in there, then wire them some dough. Might be that it won’t change till that’s done now
Quick update. Just got a text from the SC to schedule pickup! Scheduled for next week. It is interesting that I wasn’t asked about going with delivery, but I’m good with it. Now to panic about the last steps and that my GX470 and shuttle bus rv conversion haven’t found new homes yet!
No worries and thanks! Learning to let go. Hahah.
It wasn’t the VIN… it was that AAA had no Rivian vehicles in the system. They had to get all the details added and their systems recognizing Rivian as a car manufacturer before they could add it to my policy. sounds easy enough but it took 5...
Yup. According to my guides recommendation I set for 8/1 to start. After the first push in dates by a week I left it since it was a pita to get done, but will probably cancel it this week now that my guide can only say there’s no eta anymore.
This is quite common. AAA took almost a week to get Rivian added to their system from when I engaged with them. I spoke to multiple people there and it was supposedly their first one. Seals broken now though! I’ve had my truck on my insurance for almost 2 weeks, though my delivery seems to be...
