VIN 23xxx and only have gear tunnel 12v. I needed power for my phone mount and bought this: (works well)

I post this because IF I ever buy a travel trailer, it would probably be this same trailer and it’s hooked up to an R1T on 20s.
tldr: ~2500mi at 1.25-1.30mi/kWh
($270 total charging cost)
Seems decent and better than I’d expect...
@goldburger and @Trandall here you go if this is interesting to you or others.

I’ve mentioned my second Rivian R1T delivery and related R1T trade-in in other threads, but have had a couple people ask for details so here’s the story. The quick background is that back in Sep/Oct 2021 I wasn’t sure if I wanted the R1T, R1S, max pack, etc, so I placed three orders since they...
FWIW I just traded in my first R1T for my second because I found an awesome LE config in the Shop for $3k less than my first truck and they offered me $1k more than I paid on the trade-in. The trade-in and delivery process went very smoothly at the Costa Mesa CA SC.

As long as this has gone on and with (seemingly) most people opting for other available variants (or cancelling), I find it unlikely the quad/max will happen. It’s going to be tough for Rivian to justify the production and support of a fundamentally new variant for such a relatively small number...
That’s true for last mile delivery (current Amazon usage), but not for long haul. As more long haul electric comes to fruition, I’d think these algorithms have value.
Isn’t part of Rivian’s long-term business plan to be a commercial fleet management SaaS provider? In light of that, fully acquiring ABRP doesn't sound as crazy as I first thought.
Do you plan to buy two more mounts to connect to the roof bar? Or perhaps at least consider a foam or rubber insert into the crossbar channel so you have a constant and soft touch point.
The Eastern Sierras are great and with RANs in Inyokern and Bishop, plus this 350kw Coso Junction charger, Hwy 395 is pretty well covered. Adding Olancha or Lone Pine would be nice, but again, I’d put priorities elsewhere. The road to Cerro Gordo is easy and we didn’t air down (R1T + 4Runner)...
