I have an R1T and it's a hard no from me. Maybe if I lived somewhere with a milder climate but in New England with the range limited by the cold it just isn't worth that much. Frankly I don't know that it's worth the 77k I paid when the grand Cherokee 4xe is available at the same price. The...
KO2's are my favorite all-rounder tire. Road noise is way low compared to anything mud tire, snow performance is excellent, and they can be wheeled relatively well in anything but mud (they dont sling mud off like mud tires, obviously). Very curious on the range impact. I also imagine you...
I actually love this truck save for one issue; range. Namely the range in winter with a motorcycle in the bed. I don't think I'll manage 200 miles on a full charge in conserve mode, which makes it 175 from 80% at best. Making a few ~900 mile treks this winter with that kind of range is going...
I have noticed the "clunk" has gone away with one of the recent software updates when switching on the fly. But there was definitely a noticeable clunk when enabling on the fly... if it shouldn't be done on the fly the system shouldn't let you do it.
So I've owned a few EV's and since I started with ev ownership I said I won't adjust my driving style for this... And I still haven't. The rivian and Mach E are really the first that don't inhibit my range needs (sans cold).
Agreed for all the same reasons... and trailering generally blows. I've had motorcycle trailers bounce a good foot or two in either direction when going around big bends on highways with bad surface conditions (so everywhere on 95). Not my idea of a good time.
Hitch should be able to do 1100lb easily with a towing capacity of 11k lb. I wouldn't do harbor freight but Joe Hauler would be totally fine:

I’ve used one. Joe Hauler makes a killer one that’s very beefy, but they’re terrible for aero drag. It would be far worse than having the bike in the bed.
I've owned several "trucks", most notably of which a '17 duramax 2500, a gladiator (truck-ish), and a Raptor. They suck. They suck to drive, they suck to fill with gas, and other than the RAM they feel cheaply built. I was the same as you; bought my rivian and the next day got to work moving...
