Agreed.....he R1S is amazing and has exceeded my expectations (I have the exact same config). I've driven so few miles thus far (120)...that I haven't even needed to charge it yet. And yup, I'm an idiot - I need to get out there and drive the sucker!

So I've had my R1S for only a few days now, and I've noticed the same noise....loud fan, etc. It's been very hot in CO. Any time I leave the climate on when I exit, it stays going for 30-60 sec. And if I have it off, it seems to stop very quickly. Based on the posts I guess it's normal...

That is awesome. I'm scheduled to pick up my S at the Denver Service Center tomorrow - got my 8-step email last Friday...so it was much faster than I had anticipated. I have to say...the easiest buying process I have ever been thru!
