I'm pretty sure I had booked it through my Guide. I will ask her how one goes about that scheduling one. Very surprised that CS can't be more helpful w/ that.
Sadly, you will probably get your vehicle prior to getting a first mile drive in an R1S. If you want a good feel for Rivian, I would recommend signing up for an R1T first drive. I did, and it was well worth it!
Damn, that blue is good looking! I'm still in favor of LG.
Btw...I assume you're taking delivery of your vehicle in 2023, which is when that under 80K requirement comes into play.
I pretty much have the same config w/ the ONLY difference is I am Launch Green (one would think that make a difference)....
I heard from my Guide this am after I told her that I stopped by the SC over the weekend and saw 3 R1Ss being prepped....so things were really starting to move. She said...
The good news is (I'm sure most on this this thread are probably aware), the Denver service center got their first 3 R1S's this past week that are being prepped for customer delivery. Saw them in person this past Saturday ;-)
Yeah, I was there yesterday. First time I've seen an R1S in person - even if it had to be through a plate of glass.....with a lot of sun glare. Did my best to capture a couple pics.
That is too funny...I'm sure we saw you. I stopped by yesterday on the way to the museum with my 9 year old. A nice gentleman that was helping a couple w/ their truck asked if he could help me with anything. Conversation went something like this:
"Do you happen to have any R1S's lying...
Damn that is beyond irritating. I was told the accessories would most likely come after delivery of the truck. But I guess to be safe, I may do what you did and just keep the config as simple as possible. I only care about getting the vehicle as well.
I guess to each their own. I love the look of the AT 20’s. To me the loss of range isn’t that big a deal. But get whatcha like, that’s what matters the most!
Happy to see some pre-orders getting the 8 step email...progress!
Just need more of those to be in CO ;-)....but really, any feedback from anywhere would be amazing.
