There's a new R1T in right in town, plugged in right next to where we drop our daughter off every day for the bus - so I get to look at that almost on the daily...just kinda rubbing salt into the wound that's starting to grow.

I literally just emailed my Guide to check in as I haven't heard anything. A little more transparency will go a long way. Hope to hear something today ahead of the long weekend.

I had a test drive a couple weeks back, it's definitely worth it! My Guide made sure I understood it was the R1T that was going to come to my house and not the R1S. Enjoy it. We'll call it progress! ;-)

Yeah, certainly frustrating....If we don't see at least a few deliveries by the first week in June, this will be a clear indication that they found something w/ the R1S that will further delay things. I hope it doesn't come to that. What I am hoping for is some transparency.

Yeah, there is something for sure going on w/ the R1S's, and Rivian is not being very transparent about it. At this point, I would be happy w/ a July delivery! The latest I heard (from my Guide) on R1S deliveries was end of May/early June to finally start.

It will be frustrating if there is no communication from Rivian this week regarding updated R1S delivery windows. For 2018 and early 2019 pre-order folks still not being assigned a Guide....I find that just plain nutty.

Well, the flip side of that....if your pre-order was prior to March '22 (before price hike), you're not doing too terribly. My config would now cost me over $100K, but the pre-order price is less 20k. Aside from that...having waited now more than 3 years for an R1S, the frustration is starting...

I hope to see some R1S deliveries by end of this month - my guide said yesterday that they were supposed to start by end of May/early June. I'll be very happy if I take delivery by July (even though I STILL have an estimated window of april/may). ;-)

I've driven by the Denver SC a handful of times, never seen that many trucks on the lot - so that's encouraging. Disappointing not to see an R1S yet (which is what I'm waiting for), but just yesterday my Guide said that the first R1S deliveries are slated for end of May/early June. To those...

Wow, that is shocking to me that you haven't been assigned a Guide when you're a 2018 pre-order. I'm 2/2019, was assigned a Guide, did sign a PBA, and just last week I went on a test drive of an R1T. I was told an April/May delivery date...but there is no way.

If I get mine by July, I'll be psyched!

That's pretty exciting and wish you luck. Still can't believe (to my knowledge) that not one R1S has been delivered as of today. I do keep hearing that they are coming off the assembly line.....we'll see.

@cohall - what does it mean that you've started the 8-step process and a VIN was actually assigned? do you have an actual delivery date yet? I signed a PBA couple weeks back, and now have a first mile test drive scheduled for next week....so I tiny bit of progress.
