So...I finally had a conversation w/ my Guide this week....'Ruby'....and she was awesome. I was her first R1S intro...so they are slowly (as she said) starting to come off of the assembly line. I'm not going to hold my breath but she told me 4-6 weeks for delivery. Starting to get real!

Sadly, I was not contacted by Rivian this past week and did not receive my Guide. I did also log into my account and there wasn't anything new there. I plan to reach out to CS next week and see what's going on.

I was/am expecting to get assigned a Guide today....so waiting patiently. <finger tap>

"After 1224 days...." but who's counting right ;-)...that is a long journey for sure. Thanks for the update and hoping they follow through on the now what would be April delivery. I'm thinking you will have to be one of the first to receive an R1S as I haven't heard of any being delivered...

That's awesome news Matt - you'll have to keep us all posted on how today goes. I got an email this past Friday that I will be assigned a Guide this week, and can start talking w/ them starting 4/11.

Yeah, I didn't think it was the case for every state. It's just flat out wrong imo...Sorry about that CA folks, as well as the other states. Getting 'double taxed' is bs.

I'm just curious, did you consider that since your Jeep was newer - you (may) get to rollover the taxes you paid to offset some of the cost of the Rivian. I'm going to be in that position because I have a 2021 Ford F-150. Trading toward a new vehicle there should be tax perks in doing so....vs...

I'm down w/ that. And I've already been there - after we drove by the Rivian service center!

yeah - I drove by a few weeks back...no trucks on the lot - but a very nice brewery around the corner that I did visit! Will make dropping off for service less painful.

Thanks for the perspective COdogman. Here I am, complaining because I didn't get to see a truck...so many more things going on to be concerned about - like those suffering in Ukraine over a needless war. I think I'm going to shut up now and just continue to wait and be patient. ;-)....today's...

I just chatted w/ someone at Rivian and what they told me frustrated me even more. The fact that I hadn't signed up on their 'https://rivian.com/connect/tell-us-more' to be added to the list, I didn't get an invite. My reply was, being on the waitlist for 3 years doesn't show you that I'm...
