For what it's worth, in the 'March/April' heading I had said that I had not heard a peep, but I just got a call from my guide with with more than just a peep. My truck is in production as well (I think there were a few others with the same status) and should take a week to get out to Bellevue. I...
Sooo.... I know that I said that I had not heard a peep, but I just got a call from my guide with with more than just a peep. My truck is in production as well (I think there were a few others with the same status) and should take a week to get out to Bellevue. I will be getting a preliminary...
I do want to ask a question generally about the emailed preliminary buyers agreement that some folks are receiving. In the descriptions I have seen about the purchase process thus far, even some of those that have shown videos of what happens, I don’t recall any of them mentioning being emailed...
Not a peep here, either. Order date of 11/26/2018, order number of #1234 (for whatever that’s worth) and I live 4 miles from Bellevue SC. My guide keeps telling me that we are still good for Mar/April, but she swore we were good for November also.
I just sent a quick check-in to CS and was told March/April was (still) my window. I asked if there was a more narrow window and was told that they are all 2 month windows at the moment. So interesting that some are getting a one month window.
I understand how you feel. My order number is #1234 and I live 6 mi away from the Bellevue center which is actively receiving trucks and I am pushed back to March-April. Ugh.
I do like the way you’re thinking! I saw them all parked in the back of the building on my way home from work but alas, as of 8:30 am on Sat, no contact from Rivian.
I feel your pain, brother. I am in exactly the same position. Even though I was re-assured this morning that end of Nov still looks good, still feel a pit in my stomach.
The part that was most different for me was the braking. When you lift off the go pedal, you start slowing done much more aggressively than an ICE car. I made myself carsick the first few days getting the hang of it when I got my EV 3 years ago.
I was actually thinking the same thing. Part of it depends on how long we spend going through the truck in my driveway. I feel pretty informed on what to expect, but my wife and daughter have only heard the stories I have told.
