Disclaimer: I did not watch the video. Assuming that you can dent the stainless steel exterior, what is the proper procedure to remove the dent? Will paint less dent removal work?
This is not an empirical or controlled study, but I received a bunionectomy three weeks ago (right foot) and thought that it may be a good time to look at this …another three weeks with the surgical boot. These seem like some strange figures. Any suggestions as to what else I may try to reduce...
I would like to pre-condition as it is good for battery health and , from what I have seen, looks to only take about 4 miles from range. But could they , say, limit motor temp to , say, 200F?
This happened to me last week as I was approaching the RAN in Benton Harbor. I was in Conserve And battery pre-conditioning for about 20 miles. About a quarter-mile from the charger I switched from Nav to Gauge and saw the front motors at ~280F and in the orange zone. I was pretty freaked out...
Agreed.
Personally, I would like to see the compass (choice of analog or digital) along with clock (same choices there) and odometer In the drivers display. No biggie, but I would use them.
This discussion brings me back to prior discussions (possibly on another forum or video) about “bedding the brakes”. I have had my R1T for about two months and have not done this. Is there any consensus on this?
Thanks bike123. Wow, 2 miles to go….hope that I never get there.
I have done some limited towing with two small trailers. Only anecdotal, but seemed like Conserve and All-Purpose had similar range effects. Somewhat lower with towing. Average ~2.0 miles/kWh.
I have not completed my spare tire kit yet, but will be towing my small trailer soon And am always looking for a place to stash that spare. This looked like a good place. Maybe this will be a permanent location and I will keep the remainder of the kit in the lower portion of the frunk….
Thank you twizzstyle. I actually ordered and received the 618. I asked the vendor about total lift and I think that it was 28” vs. 25”. I should probably do a test lift.
Yes, that is similar to the trailer that I will be pulling. What is your aver miles/kWh while pulling it? Perhaps I will try both Conserve and Towing to see how they compare.
Thanks.
Wow, what a cool trailer. I would like to get me one of them. I guess that I am not concerned as much with tire wear as I am the effects of towing a small load on the drivetrain and computer system while in Conserve mode. I would not expect to be making any tight turns or engaging much regen at...
