For what it's worth, Rivian gave me a quote for my 2016 Ford Edge right in the middle of KKB trade-in with EXCELLENT condition. I take very good care of my cars so it wasn't a stretch to claim excellent but I know it would have been a big fight to get EXCELLENT at the dealership and I probably...
Do you know if APC Full-Frontal includes the front part under the bumpers? See red area called splitter below. Metro wants $500 on top of the $2500 for the splitter. Gear tunnel is extra as well, but it already comes with PPF.
I had an instance where the audio was super muted and almost all bass. I tried different audio sources but didn't help. I ended up resetting the system which fixed it.
I went low-tech and used a strip of brightly colored duct tape. I do this for all my cars and it allows me to know exactly when to stop. my old car only showed the cam when in reverse but Rivian is nice as I can switch to rear cam as I drive in and then I know when to stop.
Have you gotten your truck back yet? How's is look?
I've got a qoute from Metropolitan in Redmond for $2500 for putting STEK DYNOSHIELD on full front. So couple hundred bucks more than your qoute.
What do you get with their annual maintenance? Sounds like some kind of car washer...
What is APC charging for PPF and ceramic? I'm really torn on whether ceramic is worth it. Seems like a high maintenance pain in the ass. Twice monthly hand washing plus deacon every 6mo.
As part of getting my truck ready for PPF/ceramic coating, the local detail shop provides a "new car delivery inspection" which helps customers understand whether the new car they got is defect-free especially if they're going to drop $$$ on protecting the exterior. It's a free service and I'm...
Hardwired vs plug-in? I believe hardwired will pull more power but also locks me into Rivian charger and means I can't take it with me when I move.
What the general thinking on this?
Can we talk about the most important part of your post? How is it for hockey gear? Have you tried putting your bag in the gear tunnel or frunk? Obviously, it will fit in the truck bed, but in my experience, it slides all over the place.
