Have been driving around with the Thule Motion XXL rooftop box for about 300 miles or so and average efficiency has been 2.2mi/kWh. Before that, the efficiency on 540 miles driven was 2.36mi/kWh. So about a 6.7% efficiency loss due to the rooftop box thus far. Almost seems too good to be true...
