Ha! Have you heard of the Rivian delivery lottery?! I'm being totally sarcastic, hardly the first to complain about it. But next week we are getting updated, accurate delivery windows ?
Not an S reservation but definitely feel your pain and angst. The truck is 2 in 1 for me- EV and light towing. If it wasn't for that I would have flipped the bird to Rivian long ago, I'm tempted every day as the wait goes on
Maaaan, Rivian getting a pass for being the 1st EV truck to market, new manufacturer, you name it, it is wearing really thin...call me be negative (I'd like to say realist) but this shouldn't be the experience for 80k vehicle...just sayin....
Thanks for the info. I'll say the obligatory I'm happy for the NC owners to get their truck, but WTF, so many of us local pre order people don't even have a guide....
Doesn't sound confidence inspiring, guys. Sorry this is happening to you.
Rivian is mucking things up with deliveries, even through it might be that we "only hear from the dissatisfied ones". The fact that we, you, are forking $75k plus, shouldn't be experiencing this anxiety inducing process...
So the thing about notifications about delivery- yes, it causes lots of negative emotional responses for sure!
But also some of us really count on having the R1T. I absolutely need a truck, I also need a fuel efficient commuter. I have free charging at work; I can buy a TM3 or I5 and an ICE...
Buy low, sell high!
Why do we care what the OP does with their property? Should we sell other property the same price we bought it? Last time I checked this is still the U.S. of A
@Sgt Beavis @AllInev Yep, I'm with you! I will have to buy a truck NLT than 4 July. If I hear back from Rivian by then- great, if not then when the Rivian arrives will have to compete with a very nice ICE truck at 2/3 the price!
Was doing a search for Ram and Rivian was just above it on the drop down menu on Autotrader. Did a nation wide search just for the heck of it- 21 R1Ts for sale nation wide. Seems like alot this early...
Thanks for sharing @DannyC .
I bet (ok, would like to believe) the air resistance from the tall camper was responsible for the energy hit. I will be towing an open car trailer regularly, so hope of a lesser hit on range than a camper.
