I just got an invite to configure my F-150 Lightening (deposit 6/16/2021).
Having had many Ford vehicles (and still have a classic Mustang convertible), I can't imagine what Ford is smoking. $100k for a Platinum?
I haven't checked recently but at these prices, I doubt there is an aftermarket...
That's a great idea. I have the same exact issue with my mom getting into the R1T.
I did a search and haven't verified this myself, but per a post on Reddit, kneel appears to go down another inch from the sport low.

Great find @yizzung!
While I appreciate lessschwab's effort in compiling a list per state, I can't find any legal authority (at least in Colorado) that confirms lessschwab's statement that fog lights have to be used with headlights.
Your state may of course be different but I looked into the...
Thanks for the post.
In search of the right answer to this problem, I found some support about using a yellow fog light. I know in the olden days, they used to put yellow fog lights on cars. I am not sure why the manufacturers moved away from that...
Thanks, that's a great idea.
As @BobinIndy, I tried the parking lights only and it was just scary in the blizzard because I am sure others couldn't see me.
But, I love this idea of tapping the fog lights with the parking lights. I bet it would be bright enough, especially if I use a yellow...
I haven't personally verified these yet but just thought it may be helpful to have the info in this thread.
Driver's Side fuse box:
Passenger's Side fuse box:
Thanks for confirming I am not the only one with the issue.
Sounds like an upgraded fog light bulb may be in order, may be with color variation as suggested by @AxelR.
I figured the fuses are as follows:
LH headlight F58 driver's side
RH headlight F21 passenger's side
(pictures I found on...
That's the first thing I tried but there wasn't really that much difference.
I think @COdogman is correct. It was pretty windy and the direction of snow seemed to be coming right at me.
Per prior experience with several vehicles, only having the fog lights on lower to the ground would...
I picked up my R1T about a month ago and finally got to drive it in the Colorado mountains.
Last weekend, I had to drive in blizzard conditions at night and was very happy with the handling as well as traction on my 20" AT tires in very slippery conditions.
Unfortunately, the lighting...
My BMW i3 had the AM available and it worked well. It was disabled from the factory and I just needed to use an app (Bimmer-Code) to unlock the AM and many other features.
That makes sense. I switched to a Z-flip 4 because it was lighter and that's probably why it slides around very easily, even with a rubberized case on it.
Or, maybe I should slow down more :lipssealed:
Yes, I was surprised that both Sandy and Sue repeatedly said there is no "induction charger" in the R1T.
I would guess they both didn't catch it because the phone has to be in a very specific spot and as soon as you go around a turn a little too fast, it slides out of alignment.
I personally...
That might explain why mine wouldn't clear the caliper in the front.
Are they different model numbers?
Here is what mine looks like. I think it looks more like the black ones you posted.
The seller posted it as part 2363/2451/560-02451. They have 20x8J 19.05mm stamped on the back.
It seems...
I don't remember who suggested the 2363 wheels from a Doge Ram 1500 first but thanks for that.
I got one for my spare tire kit since Rivian is taking their time and the 2363 wheel clearly needs a spacer to clear the Rivian calipers in the front. I forgot to take a picture when I was dry...
The Denver SC seems to be backed up if you request mobile service (3+ weeks) but when I changed to drop off it was very reasonable (10 days).
By comparison, the Volvo dealer wanted a 2 week wait for our all electric XC40, which just needed to be hard reset and took me 20 mins to do thanks to...
Good point! I have only used that wrench to 120 ft-lbs.
I have the following one as a backup and for torquing (yes, I am paranoid about a broken wrench because I have had one break the middle of nowhere). You are not supposed to use the torque wrench for loosening the nuts but in an emergency...
Sorry, didn't see this thread until now (trying to put together a cheap spare kit) or I'd said something. I would be careful with this HF lug wrench. I snapped it right at those folding joints on first use.
I suggest either having a backup wrench or just getting a better quality one so you are...
