JerryRigEverything on YouTube got a firsthand go at using the included jack after puncturing a tire on a rock during a media event (oops). Pretty solid display of the entire jack/tire setup.
I was originally sold on black, but seeing it with the black plastic trim really cheapens it out for me. Wish the metal body panels came all the way down...would really make it look more upscale imo. Think I might have to switch to El Cap after seeing this against the R1S that's been making...
We ended up creating a separate, third Spotify account that's just used on our Tesla and on the Spotify app on our Samsung TV (also doesn't allow account switching). It obviously isn't perfect, but at least we don't gum up each other's native accounts when driving or putting on background music...
At least for me, I think it's a great idea, as the plastic snap-rivets are notorious for breaking even with careful removal. If I was DIYing a fix under that plastic, I would appreciate being able to work under there and not be scrambling for a spare part when trying to put it all back together.
Denver was a 45 minute session. Guy was happy to do a walk-around then drive for 30, or just get in and go and drive for 45. We agreed on the latter after he learned how much of a nerdy dork fanboy I was lol.
Per CS chat, she confirmed second row does slide fore/aft on the 60/40 split, which is why it's advertised as a 60/40 bench despite being able to fold down 40/20/40.
Also, 2nd row itself is the same in both. Obviously door cutouts are different and everything behind row 2 is very different.
I mean, the best environmental solution is ditch driving altogether as much as possible. But obviously, much of the US is not built to support such a car-free or car-lite lifestyle, so EVs are the next best things we as individuals can do.
Rivian has always quoted 60/40, even though it technically does 40/20/40 because of something like the seats only sliding fore/aft in a 60/40. This was the same in my Land Cruiser. Middle could fold down independently, but sliding was broken 60/40.
Just chatted w/ Rivian CS and specifically asked this question. She confirmed the seats do slide fore/aft.
"The second row of the R1S has a 60/40 split, can fold nearly flat, and can slide forward/backward to increase leg room and allow for easier access to the third row."
Additionally, I...
