The R1S is pretty stout from 0-50 but then it starts to fall off. Approaching the top of Vail Pass is more impressive in my Cayenne Turbo. The R1S definitely needs more from 50-90.
I picked up my R1S after service at Denver this morning. There were a LOT of Rivians outside. The service manager said most were newly sold. On the way back to Boulder on Hwy 36 there was an R1S in the lane next to me and one three vehicles ahead. The novelty is vaporizing.
The Denver service center had the truck flat-bedded Tues morning and it was fixed and ready to go by Fri afternoon. The tow driver, with Triton (I think his name is Dusty) was very knowledgable and competent.
