Picked it up this morning after a long five days at Denver Auto Shield getting the following done:
Xpel Prime XR+ window tint
Xpel Ultimate+ full body stealth coverage
Gyeon Ceramic coating
I think the matte finish on the silver is a little more subtle but still provides a little...
I think today they they debadge it, wash it, and paint correction as needed and maybe do the window tint. Tomorrow is when he thought they would start with the PPF. Sounds like they will leave the hood ornament on and cut around that. The only thing I'm putting back on is the RIVIAN on the...
My LA Silver goes in tomorrow morning for Xpel Stealth. Should have it back late Friday or Saturday morning. The shop (Denver Auto Shield) put a test piece on for me, initial impressions are it won't be as dramatic of a change as the Launch Green or El Cap. In direct sun I thought it magnified...
Not a 1up rack product but I did end up installing a couple Thule TopRide fork mount racks on our Rivian crossbars. I went with these as they are a breeze to install / take off. Much like our crossbars no tools are needed. I think I can have the crossbars and racks on & off in under 5 minutes...
I don't know how much help this will be for you Brent but I did receive the new locking pin from 1up today - a bit long but I ended up putting electrical tape wrap around one side to snug it up - I would think 3.5" would be perfect if anyone makes that?
A couple pics: 1st one, the pin lock on...
I'll let you know most likely on Sunday (scheduled delivery) i ended up ordering 2 of the 1/4 turn replacement pins - the standard one is 3.9" and I think that will work but to be safe also ordered the long one at 5.6". One other note: My rack is like 4 years old and the pin was only 3" long...
I had a little more time this afternoon to play with the 1up rack - it does work without the extender, just need to be careful on loading the bike closest to the tailgate. I have the hitch inserted 4 inches (the locking ball is just under 3" ) so all good.
You are not able to put it into the...
My "go bin" - has a little bit of everything, food/bars, extra set of biking clothes, arm-warmers, vest & older pair of shoes incase I forget to pack anything on the day. Also tools, spare tires, (gravel & mtn) stans, etc. Nothing worse than driving 1.5 hrs getting to the trailhead and not...
I'm sure range will take a hit but at this point I'm still driving it like I stole it. My mpge is horrible with or without bikes on the truck.?♂️
Not the best shots but I do have the single/double 1up rack. I ended up using my hitch extender (bought for the Rubicon I traded on the R1T purchase). You could get by without the hitch extender but the pedals end up only an inch from the liftgate and that's with only being able to insert the...
Added another one for Colorado. When I asked the delivery gentleman how many have been delivered in Colorado he replied "hundreds". That seems like A LOT more than I would have guessed & if that's the case it really is a small percentage of people on this forum compared to other Rivian...
Just took delivery of my LE without the off-road upgrade (looks like Rivian calls the underbody "On-Road" for my R1T) and according to the payload sticker my truck is 45 lbs. lighter without the extra protection. Payload limit is 1464 for me. I do have the spare 20" AT tire so not sure if that...
I stopped by the service center this morning to try and catch a glimpse of my R1T (that is scheduled to be delivered Tuesday) no luck on that as it must have been inside BUT we were a Compass Yellow away from the unicorn trifecta with Red Canyon & Limestone on this trailer. Over the last month...
