I can't see her lane even allowing a left turn, and it looks like she was turning left.
It's as if she became upset that the Jeep wasn't going quickly enough and made the decision to go around him, and then used blind faith or something because there was no way she'd be able to see. Her best...
I'm choosing to believe that Rivian reached an agreement with ABRP to use their data, but not to buy the actual site.
I'm also choosing to believe (since I want to) that Rivian has reached an agreement with some off-road navigation provider and has purchased the right to use their data as well...
I've been using my Lectron adapter on average about once or twice a week since I traded my Tesla in on a Rivian about 9 months ago.
I never disconnect it from the Tesla port and only plug it into the Rivian when I charge it.
Next time I charge it I'll monitor the temp of it just to see what it...
There are also rules that come with the NEVI funding.
Now I certainly don't understand all the rules as there is no NEVI funding for dummies that I can find, but it my understanding there are some payment rules like needing to be able to call in to pay.
From the press release
" Ford Motor Company said today it reached an agreement with Tesla Motors that will provide Ford electric vehicle customers access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. and Canada, doubling the number of fast-chargers available to Ford EV customers...
I certainly agree that the limited roll out was just an initial test to see how it went.
The argument for the Magic Dock was to limit the usage to only locations that were more rural. So that they got more usage.
Having an adapter means that any of the Superchargers can be used.
I don't see...
This is both unbelievable, but believable at the same time,
Believable because the Ford CEO has a twitter Spaces talk today, and it seems odd that a competitor to Tesla would be going on twitter spaces.
So its believable that some deal was worked out.
Not very surprising these days when anything that shorts the CAN bus wipes out so much stuff.
My Sprinter Van got hit while parked and damaged the bumper and tail lights. The damage wasn't all that much, but I couldn't start the vehicle. I realized the blind spot monitoring sensor was in the...
Ha, I have the same experience with the key fob.
One of these days I want to create a funny video of the various ways Rivian makes you wait.
Waiting awkwardly for the vehicle to unlock
Waiting for the reverse lines to appear (on the first drive of the day sometimes it takes a few seconds)...
For the tock to be absolutely gone.
It's been serviced three or four times (if you count Mobile) for the tock issue, and its still there. Sure its not as prevalent as it was, but its still annoying. I haven't created another service ticket and instead I've been trying to see when its the...
I agree that the bed size of the Rivian R1T is a bit on the small size. In fact I think the only truck with a smaller bed is the Hyundai Santa Cruz.
But, the R1T does make up what it lacks in length by having a very handy gear tunnel.
It's more of an adventure vehicle than a truck.
I...
I would say there are two primary rules for owning an EV like the Rivian.
Rule #1 is to have charging at your house, and fast charging nearby. With these two in place you can have the Rivian as your soul vehicle without much issue. If you forget to plug it in you can always do fast charging...
I really wonder if the DRL of cars these days is why so many people fail to turn their lights on at night.
All my vehicles have auto-lights so I just leave them unless they're pissing me off by turning on/off too quickly. I wish those things had a minimum on time of 15+ min.
It's been reported on this forum as well as couple other forums.
Hopefully it was just a brief configuration error issue.
It's the only RAN station where I've seen reports of other CCS vehicles being able to charge.
