Good point. I didn't even think of it that way. I have a Comma2 in a drawer to trade if I decide to upgrade. I know it's nearly worthless on the resale market now lol.
I'll add to the promo. If you're an exisitng users, Comma also offers a $250 trade-in credit off the price of a comma 4. So you could get a Comma 4 for as little as $600 with the trade-in credit and Paypal offer.
No update for me still. Gen1 early build 22'. I am on the list for a 12V battery replacement (received a support call out of the blue 2 weeks ago to schedule my replacement, still no warning via the app).
I'm starting to wonder if they blocked mine from updating until that is addressed.
Not here. Toyotaās have always been boring appliances driven by people who arenāt even connected to driving. At least thatās the norm here in NC. Most dont even know their high beams are on š
I had to turn off long to fall back to the Rivian sensor because of this. Sunny and long is equivalent to the farthest follow distance Rivian uses., even under the aggressive setting. I've been pleased running Sunny since I made that change. You still get the feature of MADS and other Sunny...
I hope I am wrong, but I don't see R2 selling 100,000 units/year once the reservations are filled. I don't even know they'll sell 100K units to reservation holders. It would take a major shift in gas prices or a significant improvement in range technology to move that many IMO.
Alexa has vastly improved with their new Alexa+. I hope Rivian allows Alexa+ to be integrated and does not abandon Alexa altogether. If they do, my updates will end there. I used it heavily with all of our smart home equipment.
Look for a highly rated local glass shop. They'll be able to order the OEM windshield and install it. If the glass is removed properly, no calibration will be necessary.
The site owners should make a complaints and concerns section where all can go to complain about anything and everything
I would like to add that anyone considering purchasing an R1 with the expectation of outstanding reliability might benefit from doing some additional research. These...
Itās sounds like you have a small air leak in suspension. Iād open a ticket to have them look at it before it gets worse and the compressor canāt keep up or fails.
I hope for their sake that is the case, though I personally lean differently. The HEMI engine is indeed remarkableāIāve had the pleasure of owning 6 of them. However, at this point, I would personally prefer the Hurricane over the HEMI. When the HEMI was last available in the Grand Cherokee...
