Would not recommend that, would likely drop your range down by ~45 miles (289 vs ~244).
Would recommend the Firestone Destination XT instead...range would likely drop to 270 miles or so...
I went with a 33" tire (CV 4S ~$250) and saw range go up ~5% or so...
Reason why 21" should be discontinued (20" rim plus 33" tire is naturally more efficient):
22" is less efficient than 21" since the rim is 10% heavier...
Lighter weight rims and tires can achieve ~5% better efficiency than the 21" OEM setup.

It's a 10/32 tread and doesn't last beyond 20k miles.
The General Grabber HTS60 (275/60R20) is half the price, also 10/32 tread, but weighs 3 pounds less...
I believe the 21" OEM rim is 48 pounds, while there are aftermarket 20" rims that are only 25-30 pounds...all said, the 21" tire is not...
The Geolandar is a great step between 20" OEM and All-Season tires...
The next logical step between the Geolandar and 20" OEM is the AT Nitto Nomad Grappler...also 116H/3PMSF but a few pounds lighter than the Pirelli's and only $250 each (60k warranty)...
Ratings/reviews are solid...
Agree - They are marketed as an All-Weather, it's a hybrid tire meant to perform year round.
Not AT or highway, something in between...it's slightly more AT than AS...not sure if they will get loud or not, but prob. will be a lot better than the Pirelli's...
For external temp it affects air density, so it actually plays a big role. These tires are extremely quiet, tried to hear them but couldn’t so far. No vibration at all, and handling is significantly better than 20” OEM…can use sport mode now without it feeling like wheels will fly off.
They...
But what temp!?!?
At sea level and 55F, getting something like 2.25, which is 2.35 @62F, or 2.45 @69F…temps finally going up, will get some more data to add to the mix…tires should be broken in at this point…Dougie looks like a saint…boots was literally climbing the walls a second ago
My impression is positive, but I honestly haven’t pushed them hard enough to say for sure. My best guess is they perform extremely well handling/cornering if temperatures are <60F. If 70F plus I think the soft compound will have a negative effect on performance…this is 100% speculation. It’s...
think CV 4S have to be slightly less efficient, maybe 2.1? Here’s recent 2.2 @32 mph average over 170 miles, prob. 60% local roads and 40% highway (so 45 mph with stop lights and 70 mph highway).
Boots approves of this message:
my only caution is they may wear very quick. Just checked and tires hit 1,500 miles and wore 0.25/32 (were 12/32 @1,000)…based on that rate maybe only 20k…not great, so might be best as a winter tire…how many miles are you getting from the AS+3’s?
I also had trouble at one SC, banging it on a surface was the only workaround I found...may need to try a lubricant as some others have mentioned...was first time showing my wife which inspired zero confidence...first time it worked fine...go figure...
Here's my assessment, Rivian is definitely not a Luxury brand (at least in classic sense):
Performance and handling - It's fast, but not exactly top performer for handling (too boaty).
Smooth ride - It's ok, definitely not luxury, more like mid-level.
Comfort, refinement and painstaking...
Rivian isn't remotely "Luxury", its fundamentally built around functionality...
What luxury vehicle has onboard air? Or a flashlite in the door, or a bluetooth speaker?
What luxury vehicle is built for offroading and camping...TBH, if Rivian was a luxory brand I bet more than half the people...
