If this is true, it makes me lose a bit of confidence about RJ. Just don't see it happening. I just hope it doesn't get to Musk levels of overpromising...
Can you imagine this dude going around telling people that Rivians get totaled because of "flat tires", after clearly hitting a barrier on the side of the road. I'm speechless. Mods should take this down.
Turns out...they gave me 4 free pucks. They were really appreciative that I brought them back, seemed really surprised that I did. No free hot dog though. Maybe I should have just kept them for myself.
Yeah I am going to swing by there and drop it off...
They did send me home short one lug nut though. The threads of the lug nut are damaged and they couldn't put it back on safely. Last person to take the front wheels off was Rivian service...
If you are getting an insurance payout, the payment amount is supposed to be enough for you to replace with the same vehicle. If it's not you should push back on your insurance company and make sure you get a proper payout to replace the vehicle. What's the point of a payout if it's not enough...
Are you saying the inner pads aren't worn evenly flat (parallel to the backing plate)? That is definitely something wrong with the calipers. Too bad it's out of warranty now...
That's not normal unless you are doing heavy duty stuff like towing. If it were my vehicle I would be raising hell until they fixed the problem. I see in another post that you live in a mountainous area. That could be it too. But if it's been uneven every time that means the caliper isn't...
3 years, that's what...50k miles? Inside pads are worn on all four corners? How much extra? For sure there must have been a lot of pad left, and wearing unevenly on all 4 corners would be really odd. Shouldn't have needed brake pads on an EV with that low mileage. I would expect 100k out of the...
If you can't print at home - https://jlc3dp.com/
Get them printed in MJF PA12 Nylon and they will last forever. Global shipping is cheap and takes about 10 days from ordering to my door.
If you want domestic,
sculpteo.com or shapeways.com
You don't buy into platitudes and subjective feelings but you sure offer up a lot! It's really hard to take your post seriously when you say you want hard data and post none of your own.
If you do a search, owners of the new Michelins are all unanimously saying the ride quality and noise is...
That sounds different than what I am experiencing. Mine is constant with speed, it isn't caused by accelerating or decelerating. I dropped off the vehicle last week and did a ride-along with the tech. He said it's most likely the drive unit or the disconnect used for conserve mode.
That 3rd row does not look very practical. Seems like another 5 seater with 2 seats crammed in the back. 100k is too expensive and Lucids have really bad depreciation, I'll wait and see if the company looks viable in 5 years. Enjoying my R1S for now.
This apologist attitude is pretty ridiculous. Most people are getting 20k miles + out of their original Pirellis, so there is definitely something wrong with the owner's vehicle. So stop trying to gaslight the owner and make them feel like they are stupid.
I think we are going to in short...
Agreed. Map view is kind of pointless too. Efficiency was the only useful information being displayed on the entire left 2/3 of the screen.
Just shows that the screens are unnecessarily large on these vehicles and we would be just fine with smaller ones that were focused on displaying the...
The armrest doesn't lock, but it does use an electronic release when you push the button to open it. Maybe that is jammed or not responding to the button input. Try a soft reset?
