I see you are an early '21 preorder with Apr-June delivery window. Did you get the confirm your configuration email last week? I am in a similar boat with regards to pre-order and delivery estimate, but was not asked to confirm my config. If any '21 pre-orders received the confirm config...
It's all over the place. I have a 3/21 pre-order, given the Apr-Jun '23 delivery window, and I also did not receive the confirm config email... hope this doesn't mean my window is going to be pushed. I wouldn't be entirely surprised though.
3/21 R1S preorder here with Apr-June estimate window. No email. You may be right. I am curious if they are all still LEs too, unless I missed something that already debunks that.
I'm in Northwest hills, so not as far north as you. I have used Klock Electric and Armadillo Electric. Both are good, I just can't recall which I used for my charger install.
Yes, very good point. I do live in Texas and know the predominant energy sources in the state, especially with its own grid. I don't mean my next comment as something that everyone can do. Not everyone has the means (both logistically and cost wise), but Texas energy sources is one reason I...
Everything was open so that you could see in / sit in each of the trucks. They even had one R1T that they were letting folks take short test drives. However, the "RSVP" was interesting. When I got there, there were people to check you in, but nothing at all to keep random passers by to check...
We do. None of it is all the big of a deal for me anyway. My wife has an e-tron and I don't think we've ever had to charge anywhere but at home. Would like to take some road trips in the Rivian when I get it though.
Odd that Texas is so sparse. From my observations, Texas has been a big initial market for Rivian. I see R1Ts everywhere and starting to see R1Ss out and about too. Does anyone know if something in Texas makes things more difficult to get chargers placed?
Quick update for you. I had a first mile drive yesterday in an El Cap R1S. I asked if it was the same truck they had at the Austin event this past Saturday, and they said yes... oddly no longer had the Michigan plates though. I did not see a compass yellow R1T at the SC. So who knows what...
And my guess is that these will be the vehicles in Plano. I didn't pay attention to all the plates, but the R1S had Michigan plates... I'm guessing these are being used for a road tour of sorts.
I did. Had to RSVP for a time slot and number of guests. I also just noticed an invite to book a First Mile drive appointment on my account page... was momentarily excited until I saw it was only for the Dallas SC. Why would they do that? I am 4 miles from the Austin SC. Not going to make a...
Please join us for our upcoming event at Neighborhood Goods in Austin on Saturday, December 3rd from 10am – 6pm. See the R1T and R1S up close, meet our team and ask loads of questions. It’s also a great chance to connect with other members of the Rivian community.
We can’t wait to meet you...
