Just got an invite to a Rivian event here in Austin this Saturday 12/3. Anyone else? Oddly, it is on South Congress, not at the SC. More publicity on SoCo I assume.

I am certainly not immune from playing the speculation game, but the whys and hows of Rivian's decision making may never be known. A lot of folks have been pushed back, but some have not. I am fortunate to be one of the latter, yet I have no idea why. My pre-order was 3/21, originally 1h '23...
Interesting theory.... I'd think the R1S is on a different production line than the R1T. But if not and the through put on the R1Ts is higher due to simply more time to get things nailed down, perhaps this is the case so they can meet the production numbers reported to the street. Their #1...
Wow, I have the exact same pre-order date w/ a Q2 '23 delivery est. Do you have Max Pack or no SC close by? I know everyone is trying to make sense of the nonsensical, but those are 2 things that would make a little sense.
3/15/21 pre-order. Reading through all these delivery updates, I'll consider myself fortunate. Definitely not making any config changes. I do live only 4 miles from the Austin SC, maybe that has helped not to get pushed out of my original 1h '23 estimate.
