  1. Got my Rivian NACS Adapter

Well I just got my replacement Lectron adapter today while home at lunch. Got back to work and an email popped up asking me if I wanted the adapter and that another email would arrive to verify my info before shipping. I just took delivery on 5/23/24 2024 R1T quad. Vin is 34xxx
  2. My first dent

Tomorrow will be one month with my R1T. Love it so far. I do have drivers side door that runs a bit when opening but only on the hottest days. Also a loud rattle in center of dash. Sadly I did a dumb thing after installing my tow hitch. I did not check the height of the hitch vs. tailgate...
  3. Matte wrap gang! Let's see photos of your matte Rivian R1T & R1S

Had my pick up today, and even got the reduced pricing they announced today. My lease payment went down by $60 a month and I’ll get about $500 back from what I originally paid at “signing”. Did have a mini panic attack as I was getting ready this morning got an email that my pickup was...
  4. Prices lowered on R1T and R1S inventory (5/23/24)

I finally heard back from my “guide” he told me that the canceled appt, re-schedule and new docs to sign are because of a MSRP reduction announced today(I don’t think publicly yet) and that triggered the changes but he said I’m good to go for my new pickup at 1pm today. He did say I would get...
  5. Prices lowered on R1T and R1S inventory (5/23/24)

So my delivery was bumped up to today from next Thursday when I sent a text Monday asking for an update. This morning I had a minor panic attack when I got an email that my pickup had been canceled. A minute later I got an email that my appt had been re-scheduled for today but at 1pm instead of...
  6. WDH for towing travel trailer

I'm looking forward to how easy that is compared to my spring bars. I definitely have an electric jack, my tongue weight is between 750-800lbs. Not cranking that weight by hand. :p I am going to downsize from my 28' to a 20'. That was in the works before I even had a thought of Rivian. I went...
  7. WDH for towing travel trailer

Thanks! Appreciate that info! I appreciate the tip on Kneel mode, as a vertically challenged person with a perpetually torn ACL I'll be using kneel mode and I probably would drive myself crazy I had bought the Anderson for my 22' Tundra as my old Bar type would make the Tundra feel like a...
  8. WDH for towing travel trailer

I had ordered the Anderson for my 22' Tundra, but never got around to setting it up. Picking up my new R1T on Thursday. Taking a trip to the Oregon coast June 16th with my 28' Coleman. I do have question. How did you do your set up of the hitch? The Anderson manual says to turn off self...
  9. First Experience pulling the Airstream Trade Wind with R1T

Thanks for that info! I’ve been using .9 as a factor in my route plannning via ABRP so not too far off. I Will have the quad but the large pack a 21” road tires hopefully help a bit. I’m also a slow tower. Even in my gasser I tow at 65 max.
  10. First Experience pulling the Airstream Trade Wind with R1T

Thanks for your reply and pics! Your larger trailer looks about the same size as mine. What kind of range (kWh) do you get on average when towing the big guy? I sold my 22’ Tundra back to my local dealer, they offered me what my payoff was, all other options including Rivians were around $5k...
  11. First Experience pulling the Airstream Trade Wind with R1T

I have been using A Better Route Planner ABRP both web and their app. It has been super helpful. I read somewhere that the ABRP was bought by Rivian and is what powers their navigation. Could be wrong though.
  12. Title, license plate (transfer or new) and registration

I answered my own question, and I think I actually shorted Rivian by $4. Went to OR DMV fee page and found it's $192 for title, $316 to register electric vehicle, doubled because it's new, and a $26 plate fee for total of $850. The fee for transfer is $30. Glad I didn't text the guide asking for...
  13. Title, license plate (transfer or new) and registration

Hello fellow Gorge dweller(I live in The Dalles) and Rivian owner! I'm scheduled to take delivery in Portland on the 30th(how did your pickup process go?) I see that your experience is from a couple years ago and has probably changed but did you receive a refund for the difference eventually...
  14. First Experience pulling the Airstream Trade Wind with R1T

Yay! A fellow trailer towing Oregonian! I’m about 130 miles north of you in The Dalles. While I don’t have an Airstream, I have a 28’ Coleman which I know is not aerodynamic as yours. I started my buying process on a 2024 Green Quad with large pack and 21” road tires on Thursday, last step of...
