Tomorrow will be one month with my R1T. Love it so far. I do have drivers side door that runs a bit when opening but only on the hottest days. Also a loud rattle in center of dash. Sadly I did a dumb thing after installing my tow hitch. I did not check the height of the hitch vs. tailgate position when open. Went to the Oregon Coast for a camping trip. Everything went smoothly got all settled in at campsite when I went to take doggo for a walk discovered a nasty dent in center of tailgate. My first thought was the tongue Jack hit the tailgate at a weird angle but it just didn’t look possible. I went back and looked at some photos I took right after arriving at campground and there was no dent in photo. So with kids wizzing around the campground my mind thought of the time as a kid one of my cousins crashed into the side of a motor home. I thought I would have heard the commotion had that happened. It then dawned on me that I had never put tailgate down after setting up hitch(all my camping gear was already loaded), I did put it down after arriving. Sure enough softly lowered tailgate and that was what happened. So, is this something I might be able to push out from inside, or possible paint less dent repair. There are a couple spots on the PPF but no metal showing. Not super worried about it other than how it looks. I am leasing and will have to fix eventually. Ideas? Thanks!
