Not sure what the white nozzle, but like what the other person posted, a 0 deg (straight jet) will do the most damage, the wider the spray angle, the less potential damage, don't hold in one spot on the paint of an extended period of time. If you use a 40 deg tip will give you the best overall...
That's some serious pressure to do that, most touch free washes don't use that much pressure, and usually between 600-800psi. I own a car wash and run thru our touchless auto all the time with no worries. Our self serve bays run at about 1250 psi. If you are running a home pressure washer...
How did a touch free wash do that? Was the top of the machine that low and they didn't have a height bar when entering the wash? Most machines have a height of at least 7ft, and I don't think the R1S's are that high, even in highest mode?
That would be pretty impressive, do you have a link? Were the rides during a snow, or after? I just think it's incredibly hard to drive during a snow storm, I just wouldn't trust my car to do it for me...at least not yet. Would love that ability to sit in the back seat while my car drove me...
I'm 58, and I don't see L5 taking place in my lifetime, I think people forget that driving on a nice sunny day with clearly marked lanes are easy. But when it's pouring rain, or you have snow covered roads that make lane lines invisible, I don't see this happening. To me, level 5 is any road...
I've noticed that many times I walk out to the garage, and the lights are on, on my truck. I have also noticed that when going to a store, for not very long, when I come back, Gary''s sweating and it is says High usuage, even though it's been parked. Also noticed my range is way down since the...
I'm looking at putting on the HTS 60's on 20" rims to replace my 21's I think the above mileage calcs are wrong as they only start with a 10/32 tread, not 12/32....at least according to discount tire. They also have a 65k mileage warranty, so if you get 30k miles on them, you should get ~50%...
Same on my truck, it's the pads stuck to the rotor when they are wet and you park, our tesla MX does it too, only sometimes it has a hard time backing up and popping them off the rotor...way worse than the my R1T, which usually pops them loose much easier
I just removed this cover as I'm going to get the new v2 auto cover next week, so I will no longer need this. Worked great and is in excellent condition, pretty easy install. Available for pickup in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I can throw in a couple of ring hooks with it (not pictured)...
assuming you meant the gvwr sticker? That has a 3/23 listed in the upper right corner. I purchased from the store, since they had one that matched my original configuration minus the tonneau and gear tunnel slider.
I just got a call back from Rivian, and they told me that my they misspoke, and that my truck was compatible, so I'm booked for next month to have it put on! Totally stoked now!
I have a 23 vin 217xx, told not compatible, but they said they could retro fit with the manual cover!? This sucks, as that and the slide out gear tunnel were the two things that I really wanted in the truck, and now have neither!
