Mine has been doing this for a while, but it does it weather the actual was running or not. Almost every time. I would back to the garage and the fans would be running full blast. I would open a door and it would shut off and not turn back on. I was going to open a ticket on it.
I had a similar issue, drove about 50 miles to pick up a UTV, and everything on the screen disappeared, except for the speed, from what I recall, and infotainment screen just restarted, everything eventually came back on, but it only happened once...don't think I've driven it since then so...
I don't believe that's true. I have a gen 1 R1T, never use the FOB, and I've had the alarm go off on me with my phone standing right next to the truck, the truck didn't unlock but it allowed me to open the gear tunnel, and then the alarm would go off (flashing lights and horn honking)...this...
We're in the same boat, have a 2018 model X, so far so good, and hard to ditch with free supercharging and Premium services...still trying to figure out what to replace that with when the time comes...trying to convince the wife of an R2, that might hopefully be available in 2026....or if Tesla...
They must have some issues with the 12v battery, I have 2023 that I received in September, and I got a call last month saying they wanted to replace my 12v battery and do some other things to my truck, even though I have not seen any issues with it. They are going to replace it this Friday.
I took delivery of my R1T in September, don't remember the exact day, but I've had my adapter for a while now. You definitely should have gotten it by now.
I will upgrade when they have better range, built in NACS, and 800v architecture. That would make it worthwhile. Hopefully that will be before the full warranty is over for me in 2031!
It's not necessarily bad, it's 1 of 2 options for the 21" wheels. It's an expensive tire, no mileage warranty, and I think most people are not getting a lot of miles out of them. There are more options for 20" wheels, hence why people want to switch.
For me personally, I would like to get...
I plan on keeping mine at least until the battery warranty gets close, so probably 8 years. We've had no issues with our 2018 Model X, and plan to keep that at least until 2026 when the battery warranty is up, maybe longer. Unless they possibly come up with a newer truck that has new battery...
Yes, I really like the Atomic Wheels, but I can't justify the cost to move to a 20". The equivalent Michelin LTX/AS on 20" is ~$80 cheaper than the 21" version and then have more options with a 20", but then I have to buy a set of wheels. The 2 options on Tire rack are ~half the price, but a...
