Mine also update only once (probably after a month of driving) since delivery (4mo ago), I have not manually reset. I think I will soon as I am 6k miles in and would be curious if my driving style has leveled out going from ICE to BEV.
I cant confirm either way. The service manager I was talking to about my truck said it was a faulty component with the HVAC system, he did not elaborate on if it was some or all units.
Final update...the work was completed yesterday morning. They arranged transport back to me same day as I am leaving town and they were rockstars and arranged for it to be back prior to.
Here is the invoice details related to the water leak into the cabin floor area...
Case closed. I hope...
Received an update from the service manger in Atlanta yesterday, he stated there was a shipping /freight method delay for a part which was the cause for my truck being at the SC for over a week. It was a mishap, and it was a Rivian whoops when the part was ordered. The truck will be finished...
Update from my guide on Sept 14.
"I also checked on the wristbands and they are working on shipping those out to all Launch Edition owners this month. If you haven't received the wristband in the next few weeks, please reach back out and let me know so I can do some extra digging."
Looks like...
1) They pretty much wouldn't let us in the truck until we signed. She in fact locked the truck.
2) I am not sure if the speaker charges well in the truck. We pulled it out and charged with USB-C and it worked fine. I know for fact it does not shut off when you stow it. It will keep trying to...
We need the camera over the back window by the high brake lights to be usable for a rear camera also!
Be nice to watch cargo area as well while you carry a load.

Yeah I saw John Doe pics on the Fb group, saw his pics the night before I scheduled the appointment. Rivian5 wanted me to drive and wait for the truck work to be done same day. I saw Doe pics and said hail no I am not waiting, no way it's done same day.
No update Tuesday, which was when on the last update they expressed the truck work would be completed.
I call Rivian5 this morning for an update, he speaks to someone in ATL and they say the refrigerant has been evacuated from the system so they will have to charge it and there was one other...
Today's update from ATL, still waiting on HVAC tape.
He did mention they replaced the HVAC controller(?) as there was a faulty part causing a clog and that is where my water was coming from on the driver side. They are hoping to receive the tape today and truck done tomorrow and schedule it...
I had that with my Mazda3, the door drains got clogged in my many years of ownership. They are accessible on the bottom of the door typically; have plastic clips on/in them. If my R1T wasn't at the service center I would check what that looks like on the truck doors.
