It’s great that we can use Sirius but a TOTAL miss by requiring it to stream vis LTE! Sirius is a satellite radio company and one of its huge values is great audio in remote locations. Rivian using LTE means massive cutouts during highway driving. Unusable. Can’t we get the satellite stream...
Not complaining and not saying there is a definite problem BUT I just bought an R1S dual max and not sure about the suspension. Seems to be “loose” in the front end compared ti the Lexus 570 I had. Ride seems sturdy overall. Anyone have input? Should it feel shaky and a little loose?
Also use Chat GPT to do all the math for you. I used it because they don’t show you all the figures you need. You can also text the sales / deliveries very team and they can get you what you need. Note: even with the current lease deals from the federal and state it is much cheaper to pay up...
R1S 1 week old. Been great no issues until tonight. Started car at night in light rain and front sensor notification came on when we drove. Also noticed the suspension was almost non existent. Any thoughts? Will it reset and self correct tonight?
Read somewhere that aftermarket crossbars (I just installed some) can cause damage or crack the roof glass. If it’s true, I’ll pull mine off and buy the ORN but would line to know if anyone has some real info here??
Appreciate the response. As a 65 year old outdoors guy with home in Winter Park and driving Berthoud Pass 25 times per year I still need to learn some things.
I guess what I am struggling with is what is so different now with the R1S. I've driven the Lexus 570's for the last 12 years with one set of year round tires. I know the R1S is 2000 pounds heavier but is that the only reason I need dedicated snows?
Just picked up R1S dual max. My wheels are 22’s with Pirelli Scorpions. Does anyone know of a great real all season so I don’t have to change out tires summer and winter? I am in Colorado and drive lots of summer and winter miles in the mountains.
