I just bought a Velocirax 6 bike with the lock. Easy install with 1 person. Getting the bikes on and off is pretty easy. The add-on locking cable feature is a quick install and seems to work well, and comes with its own combo lock. With 4 bikes on the rack its pretty hard for one adult male with...
I own a 2025 R1S (2nd Gen), Dual Max. Its been in the shop repeatedly for many things, some big and some small. The next medium thing that breaks i will be doing a buyback/Lemon. I have owned a leaf, Bolt, 3, Y and S before this car. Having said that:
1. I have looked all over for what will...
I can only imagine that their repair specs forgot to mention that the tow link bolt should be tightened while the vehicle is on the ground, under load, and at "normal" ride height. Tightening the bolt in the air means the bushing is under torque load when sitting and will wear/tear far more...
A note to those in california - if you have 4-wheel drive and snow rated tires (M+S), which almost all all-season tires are, then Chain Control will NOT make you put chains on. And in fact they legally cant. The 3rd tier of chain control, where they force all cars to put on chains, never ever...
Great overview - thanks. A few thoughts:
1. Ive long said that all the basic stuff on Rivians software platform sucks absolute balls because all their engineers are working on autonomy. Thats great and all but id like to be able to actually, you know, get into my vehicle with out taking my phone...
Rivian Digital Key added to Gen 2 vehicles. Needs version 2025.46 to work. Also unlocks via NFC even when your phone is in power reserve mode - this may be why a lot of peoples phones wont unlock the car.
As per usual there are some total d!cks on this forum. Always amazing to me....
And yeah, i have this problem too, and have had since i bought my 25 R1S. This is part of a long list of "issues" that Rivian has that shows that they dont actually daily drive their vehicles, becuase if they did...
I’ll take:
1. A nav system that doesn't crash and leave my avatar sitting in one location and refusing to do nav guidance, requiring a full reboot. Every few days.
2. A seat position memory that works more than 75% of the time.
3. A tailgate that actually closes instead of me having to open...
Re #4 I would really like to see what you are seeing. I can’t tell you how many small companies that I buy from have already sent emails about price increases. And small companies drive the economy, as does consumer spending. Prices are going up and will continue to go up in a step function to...
Heres my prediction:
1. Lack of EV tax credits for buyers will decrease sales/revenue
2. Tariffs on imported parts will increase costs and either increase price and reduce sales or decrease profit per truck
3. Inability to sell carbon credits will hurt profitability
4. Upcoming stagflation...
This...i owned a 2013 Model S and a 2020 Model 3 and Model Y. The ancient Model S was far better built with more luxurious touch points, was far quieter, rode far smoother, was way faster, and was just overall a much better car. I thought the Model Y was great until i got in my Model S (which i...
I’d have to say the suspension on my 25 R1S seems sub standard for a top of the line air suspension. Very “bangy” on bumps etc like it’s riding on the stops. Just waiting for something to break before I make an appointment.
Research your states lemon laws and then make sure that they know that you know them and intend to exercise them. I did this with mine (CA and broke before it drove off the lot but after acceptance and then broke again a few days later) and told them a) the vehicle was unusable and b) that I was...
I’m with you. My ac didn’t work at initial pickup, took 2 weeks to fix, then broke again within a few days and then took another 2 weeks to fix. And now works but seems to not blow very cold. They definitely have something wrong with their AC system generally speaking.
Have you tried a reset? I had the center console replaced for a faulty button and when I got it back the charging mat did t work, and it had before. I did a software reset and voila! The charging mat started working. Give it a go and see what happens!
This thread just proves, all over again (and this forum seems to be very good at), that a new idiot is born every day. And im not referring to the OP. Truly flabbergasting responses. Note that if Safeway posts the wrong price for something then they are legally obligated to sell it for that...
