Update: 2.5 weeks later and I have my R1S back! In the end, there were no "fixes" or otherwise adjustments made to the vehicle to address the issue. They just put it through a bunch of sleep/wake cycles, drove it around the SC a little, and observed/attempted to investigate with engineering...

Yup, it seems like the service centers around here are heavily overwhelmed right now which I sympathize with. They actually towed the car to a further location rather than the one right near my house because they thought it could get looked at sooner there, which is nice.
