While I agree it doesnāt add beauty, it looks solid and functional. If you want to cosplay as an overlander, get some rock sliders, Moab stickers and a craft IPA. If youāre really gonna put your $90,000 truck in danger, get the brush guard and some PPF
I bet itāll look better on any other...
idk, just a thought, if the truck āknowsā itās suppose to be charging and is trying to keep the battery in the proper temp range to charge, itās possible any energy delivered is just keeping the battery warm. I have no idea what the charging parameters are. 110 is very slow under ideal...
Great video, I was a little worried when the Riv was going through the water run-off spot and slide sideways about 2-3ā. That much weight going laterally on wet, packed snow couldāve went pear shaped quickly
The study was 2013-2019, pre-pandemic. it would be more telling 2020-2021, then the 2022 data to see if there any swings. It would be really hard to parse out ER asthma visits during the pandemic because every ailment was listed as Covid, Covid related or Covid symptom. Not trying to be...
So this inspired me to āhyper-mileā sort of. 20ā AT tires, DIY tonneau, healthy lunch, 15 minute nap, Conserve mode, ride height lowest, suspension stiff, regen high, tire pressure 48psi, temp 28F, 4 lane divided boulevard, speed limit 35 to 50, Tune-In radio on channel Chill. 20 mile out and...

read through these. on the last page is my DIY tonneau. $125 and 1.5 hours. Itāll last until the manual arrives.
Surprisingly, 9 planks fit perfectly, I put the tongue edge toward the cab. When I close the tailgate, it presses the tongue into the groove. Took about 1 1/2 hours.
After the third or fourth plank I got a rhythm and technique figured out. First I cut the planks to 54 3/4ā (hacksaw or jigsaw). Next I used a multi tool to cut a V notch out of the sides and plunge cut the thin internals and flip down inside the plank
I think Iāll give this a try. Iāll try tin snips first, if that doesnāt work, Iāll bust out the multi tool. I have some actual duct tape, the silver metal kind. Itās super slick, but might damage the rails.
What did you use to cut the internal supports? I image utility knife or quality scissors would work. Also, what kind of tape? I think I have some Gorilla brand tape that would probably work
Theres a Hagerty video where the drag race a track spec superbike vs various super cars. It beat everything but the Plaid and Lucid. I think the bike was a BMW 1000RR-R, I could be wrong though.
I have very little motorcycle experience, a lot of miles, but when it comes to bikes Iām in the...
Iāve drove a Plaid, not in track mode, and its stupid fast as is. The guy who owns it thinks its to much for the street and needs downforce for the track. Itās great for keyboard warriors.
As much sense as it would make, i agree, the odds are slim.
