Its easy to test the difference. Just link to your phone and play Spotify and toggle between that and the Spotify app native to the car. I have done it and can't notice any difference.

My son’s Acura has less hardware and computing power than my R1S and it does a better job than Driver+. You can’t tell me there isn’t room for Driver+ improvement via software upgrades without changing any hardware. I can’t recall the exact verbiage, but Rivian promoted the trucks as hands free...
