  1. "Owner Since" date info now displayed in Rivian Account 3/2026

Maybe the build feature is being redone/revamped, in advance of R2?
  2. Scout Launch Delayed to 2028: Report [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I'll be surprised if the new Scout vehicles make it to market, especially by 2027 and at the starting price scouts touting. I like the look of their suv better than the R1S (plus I don't need a third row) but do not like their truck. I'll see what happens will likely just keep my T.
  3. If the R2 Launch Edition price is $54,999

I have a few friends and family members very interested in the R2- but only if they can buy it for $50k or less. They don't care about 0-60 times, but range is important (all say 300-350 miles will make them happy). Overall I find many interested in the Rivian brand- but the main factor (at...

@darkrystalR2 Not sure why you're not seeing it available on more roads. I used it on my way home from church yesterday and it was available and worked on 90% of the roads I drove on. Have you tried either type of reset?
  5. El Cap no longer in the configurator

That'd be sad, in my opinion. Guess we'll see! Maybe new colors coming?!
  6. Has anyone had Rivian NOT recommend the 3 year brake flush?

When my first R1T hit 3 years old I scheduled it, but the service center told me it wasn't necessary at that time. Truck only had 18k miles though.
  7. Value proposition question - at what distance do you consider your ICE over EV?

I only have my R1T and my husband an escalade IQ. The only ice vehicle in our family is my youngest son's crosstrek. All that to say- all our trips are EV (or we fly).
  8. What Would Make You Dump Your R1 for an R2

Not looking to replace my R1T but add to our company fleet of vehicles. Not as our service trucks but for the tech's when they are doing local work and/or making airport runs. EV's make the most sense as the maintenance is minimal.
  9. R2 Lease Available at Launch (Report)

Apparently archaic laws, I guess. Still Can’t Lease a Rivian in Your State? Here’s Why https://share.google/o6exHR9l9gBtqSCjw
  10. R2 Lease Available at Launch (Report)

For those of us who live in states where leasing a rivian isn't an option, this doesn't matter. I hope it is an option very soon here in WI.

Yes- in my Gen 2 they're available on any road with lane markings. So basically all roads where I live, other than in my neighborhood. When it's available the hands-free icon displays under the speed limit area of the screen. I'm in SE WI.
  12. 2026 Rivian R2 Specs & Reviews!! 300+ Mile Range, 10-80% Charge in 30 Min, 656 hp / 609 lb-ft, 0-60 mph in 3.6s, dimensions

All these videos seem very positive that the R2 is an excellent product. I hope that translates into amazing sales for Rivian!
  13. Tale of the Tape: Which do I go with Rivian R1T Owners?

Software and app. We also have an IQ and it's nice for road tripping, due to the range and fast charging. But the software and app on it are so far behind Rivian... To me, my 26 quad is a better buy at that price point but to my husband, who road trips regularly, the IQ fits his use case better.
  14. R2 Expected to Officially Debut on 2/10 (InsideEVs)

Looking forward to the reveal, whenever it happens!
  15. Tale of the Tape: Which do I go with Rivian R1T Owners?

I traded in my 22 LE QM R1T for a 26 quad. My 22 had the forest edge interior, it was different but I grew to like it. If by "staining" you mean the color rubbed off, no, I never noticed that. After owning both a Gen 1 and Gen 2- I'd go with the Gen 2. Only you know your financial situation...
  16. $2500 Autonomy+ one time purchase now an option on Rivian configurator

I'll pay the $2,500.00. I like the features and hope they'll keep improving.
  17. Quad Max owners impressions / reviews?

I am very happy with it. Only issue I've had is a rattle has developed in the passenger door. Otherwise (at least in my opinion) a substantial upgrade from my 22 qm le r1t.
  18. Mileage Loss in Cold / what’s realistic?

I agree, battery temp seems to be the most important factor when it comes to efficiency. When I leave for work in the morning (truck is in a garage, plugged in and preconditioning each morning before i leave) I consistently use between 1-2% to get to work. If it's warm (above 60F or so) I'll use...
  19. Purchasing advice - Gen 1 vs Gen 2

My first rivian was a gently used 22 quad motor launch edition. It was a great truck, but my gen 2 quad is better in every way (except maybe sound system but I can't really tell the difference, to be honest). My gen 1 did need a lot of service visits but rivian always took care of the issues...
