I've had my QM truck for a year, 18K miles, five hours from a service center but haven't needed one. I had pre-order pricing and wouldn't hesitate to buy this truck again. At current pricing, I would still buy it. This truck suits me perfectly.
I've had my truck for a year, but it took about five months to get this plate and just recently got the truck clean enough to photograph after a typical NW winter. Add mine to the short list of folks with this exact lettering, but mine has the oh-so-desirable crimson background. Go Cougs!
My fender sensor/button started not working for the first time the week after Christmas, when it was mid-thirties and damp. After the new year, the temps plummeted to below zero, things dried out, and it worked for a few weeks, and then now we are back in the mid-thirties again with rain and it...
My situation is similar to Donald’s where I’m five hours from a service center and probably shouldn’t have forced the issue in March to get my truck, but I have had no real issues and no regrets. It’s a gamble to get a Rivian when you are nowhere near a service center, but not a stupid gamble...
I would check into Carstar. They are a franchise and my nearest Carstar could replace the windshield and do the recalibration. My local one had awesome service.
Mine did that a couple of weeks ago on a really cold morning (around 30F), driving to work in All Purpose. All four motors hit 260F degrees and the gauges were orange. After about 30 seconds, they all dropped by about 100F quickly. As others have suggested, I believe Rivian is intentionally...
I purchased the Piston SR for my R1T this spring and I love it. Only thing besides the 1-Up that would hold my XL XC bike on the truck. Glad to see it is quasi-officially Rivian approved. Definitely hangs over the back though…
My wife took these photos of the Spokane Valley RAN a few minutes ago... which look pretty much like the photos she took three weeks ago. It appears that they are still waiting on a few chargers (as noted by the green plywood boxes where chargers would go), but I'm guessing there is more to it...
Similar to your e-bike, we went to Glacier NP this weekend and I splurged on a Segway/Ninebot scooter for the shuttling option since the nearest charging station is 2+ miles south of downtown Whitefish. Dropped the wife and daughter downtown to shop and scope out lunch and went to charge the...
I took a rock chip low on my windshield a month ago, and within four hours it cracked enough that Safelite wouldn’t touch it. I’m far from a Rivian service center so I’m having a certified collision shop repair it but waiting on the windshield to come in. The crack is low enough it doesn’t...
Confirm that what you are seeing isn’t just painted body. They quit putting plastic under the roof mounts on R1Ts a long time ago. Mine show El Cap paint there.
I am pretty sure I have locked my phone in my truck using the key card without turning off Bluetooth or force quitting the app and it worked as intended.
