Personal / Vanity Plates, Anyone?

So it came in today and the lettering does not interfere with the graphic too much. Only lost the bird!

But…the lettering is not centered on the plate…My OCD brain will have fun with this one!

It looks like they left room for an 8th letter despite the current limits. I just look at them again yesterday for my wife's rig and I still love this plate. What color is your R1S?

I'm also considering this with PNDSAND since KICKROX is taken.

Is there a way to check with your state (Colorado for me) what iterations are available and taken?

You can check availability through the Colorado DMV website (mydmv.colorado.gov). Go to the Vehicle Services tab, then select Replace License Plate. On there you can go through the steps as if you were actually ordering new plates.

-Vehicle Verification
-Select Customer Request
-Select Yes for Personalized Plate, then type of plate
-Provide two Plate IDs and ‘Meaning’, click next (if the plate is unavailable, you will get an error message and the field will turn red, if available it will allow you to proceed).

BTW, Rivian, R1T, R1S are taken, but Rivi and 3L3CTRK is available.

I read this entire thread before getting my personalized plates in Colorado. I ended up NOT getting a plate with EV inspiration. It's pretty obvious from the R1, and I didn't need Bubba putting a dent in the door in a parking lot at night. So I went for a life-style theme instead.

As a previous poster mentioned, the CO process is much improved. It'll now check available plate options on line, so no guessing, and it was here within a few weeks. If you want a gap in your plate - use a space.

I've had my truck for a year, but it took about five months to get this plate and just recently got the truck clean enough to photograph after a typical NW winter. Add mine to the short list of folks with this exact lettering, but mine has the oh-so-desirable crimson background. Go Cougs!

This makes me miss my old plate. We did european delivery a few years ago and registered the German plate as a vanity plate. One day my wife was out driving the car and a guy was honking his horn as he followed my wife. She called me and I told her to drive home and stop in the alley. My office is close by. I drove up behind him and blocked his car. Turns out he is German and was flipping out on the plates and wanted to know about the car. We dont have vanity plates any longer.
