Hereās my 2 cents. I donāt see the need for one on the R1T/S. Bull bars are meant to protect the engine so that you donāt end up stranded in a dangerous situation with a busted radiator. Thereās no engine to protect in front on an EV and youāre going to be messing with the sensors...
We bought an xc90 for my wife a few years ago. It started leaking when it rained. The drivers side footwell would get wet. It started smelling like mold after the rain. Multiple dealer trips and they couldnāt solve it. We finally sold it and bought my wife a Subaru ascent instead.
I was able to buy a spare 20ā dark wheel and kit a few weeks ago from the service center directly. I just asked if they could sell me one when I came in for a service appointment for a couple of small things.
I completely disagree. It's not at all obvious to me that it's not scalable. My guide was great but clearly that's not everybody's experience, so I'll sidestep whether it's actually being run well today. But the program should pretty easily be able to scale up to 150k deliveries per year...
Meh. I think I paid something like $175k last year in federal income taxes. I took delivery in Dec so this doesnāt really affect me. Iād buy the vehicle either way but I donāt have any issues with getting 7500 back. Iād love to know what tax handouts and loopholes Iām missing out on though.
For way less than the cost of setting up your home for v2h (see what it costs to set it up for a lightning), you can get a very nice generator that will run your whole home on natural gas (Or propane or gasoline).
