And so it begins... after being told last week that I would not get shop access, I just got shop access. At this point, I think the only thing that would entice me to get one from the shop would be an LE in a config I like. Go figure, 14 in the shop and no LE.
Granted I have a July/August delivery window, but I figured I would ask CS about shop access after following this thread for weeks. After a long pause on the chat "reviewing my order," the rep's response: "I don't think I can work out shop access for you. But the good news is that you should...

Looks like I may have gotten the last of it, or I won't get what I ordered. Says out of stock now. Sorry about that.
It is a little more expensive, but I found it at etrailor.com too. Here's the link...
I found them on https://www.rerack.com for $10 per strip

Never ordered from the site before, but apparently the order is on its way. The load bars are all I have of my Rivian so far, but better to be prepared!

Similar thing happened to me with a first mile invite. It was for the Dallas service center even though I live a few miles from the Austin service center. Not wanting to drive the 3 hours to Dallas, I contacted CS. They explained that was due to a capacity issue, but then immediately gave me...
At early glance of the movements being posted, kinda seems there could be a large push in Q3 for the quad motor pre-price increase deliveries, then a switch over the the dual motor deliveries... so those with quad that aren't making the Q3 cut are getting pushed, sometimes significantly...
If it makes any difference, I can literally walk to a service center in less than an hour... hasn't made much of a difference yet. BTW, the western Montana and Idaho Panhandle areas are amazing... family has had a home up there for all of my 46 years+. Stay there and don't worry about...
Splitting hairs here for the chronically impatient... The October update came on October 28th, which was a Friday. The 31st, course, was the following Monday. That notice came during business hours. January's update came on January 31st, a Tuesday and after business hours. I am sure there...
I'd becurious how many post price increase R1Ts are in the delivery mix, or will be soon. Rivian could be trying to ease the margin pain by giving some priority the R1Ts (SC locations frustrations for some remain of course). The thread's R1T vs R1S commentary is very different for the most...
