  1. 22" inch tires recommendations?

I always have a set of pucks in my truck just in case, but also Discount Tire is theoretically an officially approved tire service location for Rivian, so the odds of them being prepared and knowledgable is better than most. But with most things, YMMV and Always Be Prepared.
  2. 22" inch tires recommendations?

Discount Tire has all the appropriate equipment (and in theory the training) to perform rotations and installations. I have taken my R1T to DT several times with zero issues.
  3. 22" inch tires recommendations?

I've had no complaints! I purchased and had them installed through Discount Tire and they did kind of have a bit of confusion at first because for certain model years the rating is lower than original, but if you go far enough back (2022), they are actually the correct rating... so they put in...

  6. Do you always carry keyfob or just keycard?

I exclusively use my phone as a key, but I always have a keycard in my wallet in case something fails. I encourage everyone to keep a keycard on them at all times because both the PAAK and the KeyFob do require network verification and if anything happens that prevents the truck from performing...
  7. Lights flicker while charging at home

I have a similar issue, only there is exactly one bulb in the entire house that buzzes slightly when I am charging the Rivian. I'm sure I could change out the bulb, but it's one that we barely use at the same time that the truck is charging anyway.
  8. In-Vehicle Apple Music not sync'ing with account?

Apple Music has never had the ability to pick up where you left off on another device. It's an often requested feature that has yet to be implemented anywhere. I am constantly switching my listening experience between my iPhone, my MacBook, and my AppleTV and they simply do not acknowledge the...
  9. Apple Music Cloud Sync

I did notice after a couple more days that my libraries finally updated after another couple of days. This makes me think that it does have iCloud sync, just on a much slower schedule than I am accustomed to.
  10. In-Vehicle Apple Music not sync'ing with account?

I made a similar post here: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/apple-music-cloud-sync.31957/#post-601847 I did notice another day or so after I posted it, that the library in the truck did actually update from iCloud... which makes me think that it does sync with the cloud, just on a...
  11. Apple Music Cloud Sync

To your first point, I am not aware that Apple Music has any kind of feature to continue from device to device. That has been a long requested feature that simply does not exist in Apple Music in my experience. To your second point, I haven't had this experience. It always seems to pick up...
  12. Apple Music Cloud Sync

So it's only been a week of native Apple Music, but like a lot of folks, I am loving it. A little background information, I have been using Apple Music under a variety of names for the better part of a decade. I use a series of smart playlists and AppleScripts to generate curated playlists...
  13. Apple Music: Matched, Uploaded and "Apple Music" differences

On a related note, I have noticed that the Rivian doesn't cloud sync on a very regular basis. Admittedly, we've only been using it for a week now, but I have playlists that update (rotate music and reshuffle) every night. All of my Apple devices show the new content in the playlists every day as...
  14. Is the camera quality still bad?

Because mine was considered a manufacturer defect (moisture and humidity should not be able to get inside the lens), it was covered under warranty and cost me nothing.
  15. 22" Inch Tire Options

I just swapped out for the Continental Terrain Contact H/T yesterday. It might just be that new tire feel, but so far I am liking them much more than the Pirellis. I feel like I got a fairly decent price on them and Discount Tire did a great job swapping them out. I reset a trip meter after...

  17. How-to Extract your key card chip (to put in anything else - i.e. watch band)

Man... back when I needed to get replacement cards, they were $50 each and $50 for programming. I bought my truck used and it didn't come with any keycards, so that was an unexpected expense right off the bat.
  18. Precondition battery for fast charging when navigating to Tesla Superchargers?

And that bottom latch only just barely moves. I didn't realize how little it moved forward and back and just assumed it was set correctly the first time. I had to move it back and forth a couple of times to convince myself that it was truly engaged.
  19. What'd you name / nickname your Rivian?

Mine was originally "K1T" because I have a running joke of naming everything by just changing the first letter to my first initial... But after seeing so many vanity plates with "Geralt," I realized that the real answer is "Roach." Geralt may be from Rivia, but so is his horse... and the truck...
