Cat camping and charging with TT-30 adapter [R1S]

Try parking on a flat surface, then get out and check if the vehicle is sagging on any of the corners. Try to disable 'kneel mode' or any ride height adjustments before you get out. Then leave it to sit, and come back later (next day or more if possible) and see if any of the corners have...

Cat camping and charging with TT-30 adapter [R1S]

I do kinda wish Rivian would make adapters for their mobile charger like Tesla does, where each one has a logic chip built in to auto-limit the mobile charger to the amperage for the plug that it's got... Use the TT-30 plug, it limits to 120v, 24A, use the 6-30, it's 240v, 24A...

Cat camping and charging with TT-30 adapter [R1S]

the TT-30 is only a 120v plug, and 30a at that. unfortunately, I think the mobile charger limits you to 15a(maybe 12?) on the 120v plug, and then the 240v plug probably failed down to a lower level because it was only getting half the voltage it expected...

R1S Spare tire hitch mount options?

Rigd now hos a Rivian option, but you need to reach out to them for it.

Rivian Plug & Charge on Supercharger vs Tesla Membership (Combine for Best of Both Worlds)

Your math is weird. 20-80 is 60%. If that's 75kWh of your battery, 2 charges is 150kWh. If it's 100kWh to break even, you did that a little more than 1/3 of the way though your second charge. I'm not trying to tell you to use them. I couldn't care less. Just saying that around me, one full...

Rivian Plug & Charge on Supercharger vs Tesla Membership (Combine for Best of Both Worlds)

But, 106kWh is less than one full charge, so this seems like a reasonable argument FOR the membership... That's roughly what it is at some of the MagicDock stations in the PNW, and it's worth it to buy the membership if you're going to charge more than once in that month (assuming you charge...

**NEW** MPP "Triple-L" Ride Height Adjustment Kit For R1T/R1S - Lower/Lift/Level

My truck had a distinct lean to passenger when I took it in for another issue. I had them look, and they found a "higher than acceptable air leak" in the suspension bags on the front passenger side, so they replaced it. Before trying to overcome it with aftermarket, I'd see if you can get it...

    Hitch Pin Recommendation?

I didn't go for locking, just ease-of-use, since I won't leave it in there for anything other than installing before a risky trip... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000COX0MY This one works for my uses

Which magsafe charger would you get?

I've had several iterations of the s00nish charger... this latest one is pretty phenomenal. Plus, you can get a custom topo top! :D

Show off your dashcam memory card install

This is my exact setup currently. (and the first 90* one, so it goes sideways, not down, otherwise it sticks into the open area because of the slope)

    Anyone using ElectraFi ?

Sadly, no. It seems like neither Tesla or Rivian store that data in a consumable or accessible form. They may not store it, but it's pretty valuable data for their use, so I'm doubting that it's lost. It's only accessible from the time that you tell Electrafi to start collecting it.

    Bi-Directional Charging

... That's not what I asked, but ok. Carry on.

    Bi-Directional Charging

Yeah, I know how the panel works, it seemed like you were saying there was something we could do right now and the missing part is the inverter, so I thought you had a solution.

    Bi-Directional Charging

But we don't have a 240v inverter, do you have one hooked up, can you show your setup?

    Charging at 19.2kW?

I installed a 100A charger for my 2013 Model S. I bought it used with the dual chargers (glad I did, one failed after warranty and is 3k to fix). As others have said, even on an 80A charger, the truck still maxes out at 48A. One benefit to the 100A charger is that I could set up load...

Show off your dashcam memory card install

For my SD card, I already have an adapter that angles sideways (clocked 90* from the one you show) that I was planning on reusing. It's just a USBC-C adapter, so a C-C cable will still work with it. Thanks!
