  1. Introducing the first Rivian specific bottle jack! Team 1EV 6 Ton Bottle Jack Kit for R1T / R1S

I think this is the only replacement jack I would purchase...I have enough crap floating around in various compartments, I would love to not add to that. I'll stick with scissoring ;) until there's a rull replacement...
  2. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

Ahhh! That makes so much more sense in my brain now. I think I was confused with the plastic fence panel discussion and stuff too, those you cut and squish the end, I couldn't figure out how that would be possible with the metal panels. What are you using for HDPE? Is that something you just...
  3. Aftermarket manual tonneau - anyone know of one in the works?

Yeah, it's really a moot point until it's released, we'll see if it's worth arguing at that point. For now, I'm using another thread on this forum to make a temporary one out of plastic fence panels. That'll tide me over until there are better aftermarket ones, or an official one released for...
  4. Aftermarket manual tonneau - anyone know of one in the works?

Oh man, I hope you're right. My guide has been basically useless, but told me the exact opposite, once I swapped to the R1 Shop config, it erased my previous config, and there was no going back, so I'd have to pay full price... (currently 1800, but who knows if it'll go up again)
  5. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

@Bf3 Oh! you made the slides... I thought it was something you purchased... I completely understand wanting to build your own if you're planning on combining with a home-made kitchen setup. @dga965, what did you use for the slides? Good to know about the taper, I probably would have cut one...
  6. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

That's brilliant. I'll use that when pitching the idea to the wife if we end up going this route after seeing the aftermarket (and Rivian) ones that become available. I poked Bf3 about it, but @dga965 can you help me figure out a little better the process of cutting these down to fit, and...
  7. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

Yeah, I really like that look... @Bf3 Can you post a little more about the work you did to make it so clean? (HDPE slides, how'd you cut down the boards, etc...) I'll stick with my plastic ones until I see more from EVSportline and Rivian for their offerings, but even at $800, you're at, or...
  8. New aftermarket (manual) Tonneau Cover for Rivian R1T

Hmm, would be really nice to have both of those... Any chance for a MOLLE panel connected mount system? I haven't seen how you're mounting, so obviously I have no concept of what's bolted down in there, but if it could sit above the panel, or stack with them somehow that would be amazing!
  9. New aftermarket (manual) Tonneau Cover for Rivian R1T

I paid my $5 deposit for the tonneau cover! :D I thought the bed side MOLLE panels went below the rails... how does that interfere with your cover? (You just resell the BuiltRight ones, right?) https://builtrightind.com/products/bedside-rack-system-bedside-molle-panel-kit-rivian-r1t-2022
  10. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

@Collyay and @Jack Smoke , how easy are those fence boards to pull apart if you want to remove them? Does pulling on the tailgate one bring the whole cover back to you, or do you need to go grab each panel and slide it out? Is the tongue and groove tight enough that you need to slide them...
  11. DIY temporary tonneau / bed cover?

Holy crap. Those panels are $55/each, that's $550 worth of materials there. crazy for fence boards. Definitely the best looking DIY one at the moment... I think I may go with the plastic fence panels for now and 'bed-liner' them black. Until I decide if there's an aftermarket version that I...
